As my two dogs age, they find getting on and off the bed more daunting, hence this looked like just the thing I thought they needed. It arrived packaged very well and intact. The furry material on the steps themselves is just right for an effective paw-grip, and the material certainly seems durable. The entire cover is one piece, and it zips off around the bottom for laundering. The material of which these steps is constructed is quite sturdy too. I have hardwood floors, so I already had a foamed-back, grippy rug onto which my girls jump to and from the bed. I call it their "launching pad." I did place this little staircase on their launching pad, so there is no problem with it sliding around on the floor. I suspect there would not be an issue even if I did not use the rug; but, it does make it more stable, and my girls do get exuberant sometimes. Incidentally they each weigh about 28 pounds.Physically this is a great setup, and I would recommend it to my friends but only after asking them one question: Are your pups open to a big change in the means by which they get on and off the bed? If you're doubtful, I'd give it some serious thought. My kids have come to view it as an obstacle to get past rather than a means of making their lives easier. They jump around it and next to it, and sometimes from the opposite side of the bed just to avoid it. I discovered coaxing was out of the question after going through an entire bag of treats. I will leave it in place for a while hoping they decide it is safe to traverse. Until then, it will remain something I try to remember not to trip over in the morning.

I AM SO, SO, HAPPY I ORDERED THIS. MY DOG USES ALL THE TIME. BEFORE WE HAD TO HELP HER UP ON THE BED. I TRIED OTHER STEPS AND NOPE-SHE WOULDN'T GO NEAR THEM. BUT THIS, WOW, SHE USES WHEN EVER SHE WANTS TO GET ON THE BED. THANK YOU DALLAS MANUFACTURING CO. THANK YOU.

Very nice for the priceI showed our two littlest ones ONCE how to use it to get on the bed and they took to it like they've been using it all along.Good quality and nice and light, making it easy to move and clean

Love this! Matches our bedding perfect and doesn't take up a lot of room. It's the perfect height for our king size bed the bed is kind of like an additional step for our dog. Great deal!
