The best glides by far!
Had checked several patio furniture businesses and hardware stores locally since they were close to home before ordering online. Received in two days with Amazon Prime. Had been using felt on old, worn out glides, but they never slid easily on our porcelain tile floor and collected dust and dog hair. These are high quality, thick glides and were very easy to install with a rubber mallet. One leg of one chair was slightly dented out if round but was easily straightened with pliers. These allow effortless moving of our metal and solid wood chairs. Very happy with these glides and recommend them highly.

Tight fit to insure product stays in place
Product as advertised. Instructions for installation helpful. Tight fit necessary, was helpful to put glides in hot water for a few minutes before install with rubber mallet.

Not as hard to install as I thought
Arrived on time and was not as hard to install as I imagined given the reviews. They seem to be working well and are protecting my flagstone and the feet of my wrought iron furniture. For installation a rubber mallet would be preferable, but anything with a relatively flat and rubber end will do (I didn't use a normal hammer because I was afraid the metal would break the plastic, but thinking back it may have been fine. The feet are pretty heavy duty). I placed the foot pad in place as best I could, laid the towel over it and pounded it in. I was ready to put them in a cup of hot water but don't think I ended up having to do that. Overall, I am very happy with the purchase and hope I don't have to replace them for a bit.

make sure you measure your furniture carefully
I had a very difficult time getting them to fit my furniture. I ruined several of them before I was able to develop a technique that worked. I'm not sure if the problem was that my old furniture glide slots were a bit too tight or your glides were not tapered enough at the bottom. I did get all of my chairs for this set done and they are working. The patio set I have is 30 + years old and I have put new glides from other sources on before and they were tight but not this difficult. I did try your hot water trick but it did not work. I also tried the sanding but it was way too much work.

No bueno
Cheap brittle plastic that is not a true 1 1/4”... they’re about 1/16” larger than claimed.

They were super easy to tap into place and much sturdier than ...
These worked perfectly for a set of metal chairs I am using indoors on tile. They were super easy to tap into place and much sturdier than another set I had tried before locating these.

Well Worth The Trouble
Man... these are a bugger to get in... you will need a mallet, screw driver, dikes, pliers, and a good understanding that its gonna take you some time to get the old ones out, fix the deformities of the cup with your pliers before you can slam the new cup in...Was it worth it... YES... They fit perfect, are not coming out and I don't expect to do it again for a few years...
