Oxford Products CV118 Cover

This cover lasted about 6 months before the material could not reflect the rain and holes started appearing everywhere. Not for the daily rider. If you want a cover that you will not use, here's the cover for you.

I use this to cover my scooter when not in use. I have a Vespa PX with a front rack, mirrors and a rear 4-in-1 rack and the dimensions of this cover are good. There's plenary extra room in it so getting it on and off is easy. One lesson I learned from having one of these on my previous motorbike is that the generous proportions can be caught in the wind eventually snagging on something and causing it to rip. The small buckle underneath is simply to stop the cover flying off and does not tighten it in any way. What I have done this time is used a couple of small straps, one around the front behind the bars and under my front rack, the other around the seat and under the rear rack. This keeps the cover in place nicely. Looking at the material I expect this to last a couple of years in my back garden, maybe more. I take the cover on and off a couple of times a week. I bought one of these back in September for my YBR 125 (fits perfectly), within a few weeks it ripped from brushing against a plant pot.I patched it up and a few weeks later the underside buckle ripped off due to high winds.Being relatively cheap and I knew it fitted well I ordered another only this time within a few days (high winds, but nothing massive) the underside buckles ripped off.In the end I gave in and did what I should have done in the first place. Bought a Stormex cover which is better in every way and has taken the worst of this winters storms without a scratch.

This is actually a very large cover. I have a Triumph Explorer with Givi Trekker Outback luggage, and tall extended screen on it - it can completely cover this down to the ground and has room to spare. I like the fact that it is moulded around the top box rather than straight across like my previous cover was - hopefyully this will last the test of time.

Fits my VFR800 with a large Givi topbox absolutely perfectly. I ordered the large size and glad I did, it has a little bit of room without being too baggy.I has a nice under-belly strap with a click clip just in case there is a chance of it parachuting off in the wind!

Shower proof more than heavy rain proof but ok for price. Ok if you take it off to dry inside plus the bike of course every few days if not being used.Major plus point was very generous size which covered my fully faired bike including Top box without being tight
