The rear of the cell has both + and - ...
The rear of the cell has both + and - pads. Problem is that side is interleaved with tracks of both polarity. And these tracks are extremely close to one and other. Using some flux it is almost impossible to apply a small amount of solder without it flowing across part of the interleaved tracks.
