They were small.

My two year old enjoyed these for a few weeks then I noticed the toy was coming loose. No way for me to fix this or even describe it better other than it felt a bit too cheap after the item started to become loose and we just tossed them.

Cute and noisy which my son loves but they are cheaply made and break easily spilling tons of little beads.

Granddaughter loves them and has bound them off the floor a few times and they are still holding up. Sound like real deal maracas...she is playing with them as I write this!

These were alright, great for decorations or party favors. If you actually expect to use them for any musical purposes you might be a bit disappointed as they are a tad small and light and don't seem to be made of the most rugged plastic. Also they have a rather weak sound, like there's not much inside.

This come with 2 bright colored plastic maracas, I bought them formy 14 months old grand daugther.. we have (dance partys) She enjoys them alot, they seem to have small beads inside and rattle but not loud enough to bother you if the little one goes on and on.. i would recommend these for ages 8 months old to 5 years old! Perfect for daycare..

My grandniece loves these shakers. She holds them easily and shakes them to her music. Not loud so the noise is a reasonable level. Great value for these.

These are good for a bit of fun but not terribly robust. They have a gentle sandy sound and great for an acoustic jam but if using with the very young or older folk with dementia issues, would need to be supervised.
