Simple and sweet dual language book for toddlers
I bought this for a colleague who is moving back to Japan with her family, including her toddler. He loves it and asks to read this book often. It's very simple and will be a very good text for children to see both languages in writing with simple pictures to help them with context.

Enjoyed the story
This is good to help learn the language. I would recommend this short story to others wanting to learn Japanese.

odd Japanese translation or done with computer. shunned by native readers.
the Japanese sentences are unnaturally split. It's as if a translation was done perhaps with Google and then placed on the page with breaks in the hiragana as fit within the text cut/paste box. For instance the character "Tsu" can be found on a line by itself. Something you would not find in a Japanese text book. Not something you want to learn from. The Hiragana needs to be typeset and properly presented for a native reader/speaker to read it properly.

Adorable Story
This was such an adorable story to share with the children in my Kindergarten class. They really enjoyed learning the Japanese language and about different types of black and white animals within the zoo. Loved it!!
