MAJESTIC PURE Aromatherapy Essential Oils Set, Includes Lavender, Peppermint, Lemongrass, Orange, Eucalyptus & Clove Oils - Pack of 6-10 ml Each

Okay....maybe I exaggerate just a wee tad.I live in a funky old house out in the boonies in small homestead farm country. We have both hot and cold running rats and mice. When I first moved in, there was rat problem and a lot of time and effort was put into eradicating them and preventing further entrance (the rats had literally dug through the basement floor and along the top of the foundation). As for "mouse-proofing" the house, I was told by everyone the only way to do that was tear down the house and rebuild it from the foundation up....yeah, at a cost of more than $200,000. Didn't quite have enough in the cookie jar for that.Local farmers told me to not worry about the mice too much as the mice keep the rats away, (and as someone who can't bring themselves to kill any animal, poison and traps that kill were not an option). I have searched the internet for any information that legitimizes that statement and can find none, but every farmer tells me the same thing. Solution? Get cats. Well, I have cats, and while they are quite adept at bringing mice into the house, they don't bother with mice already in the house. I suspect they think the mice are house pets and thereby coexist with them.So, after I had resounding success with Majestic Pure's Tea Tree Oil, I suddenly found myself with an essential oil addiction, so I ordered this set as a way to try out some oils without having to break the cookie jar. In looking up uses for the oils, I discovered both peppermint and lemon oils repel insects and rodents. I'm on it! I put diatomaceous earth (which I use to keep ants at bay) in shallow caps, then put a few drops of both peppermint and lemon oil in each one. IT WORKS! I haven't seen evidence of mouse poop in more than a week! My blue light shows no evidence of mouse pee on counters or around the feeding bowls. Yes, the aroma dissipates after a few days, but that is easily freshened up by moistening the caps with water or a carrier oil.Since the cats are free range, the doors are always open, so that leads to lots of flies. I mixed some lemon and peppermint oil with almond oil and went over all the cabinets where the flies like to hang, spit, and poop. The flies didn't know what to do with themselves. As a fly repellent, I'd say it's good for a couple of days for repelling flies (and skeeters...I even rub some on myself), but even after four days, the flies were not that eager to land on cabinets.I haven't finished mucking around with the other oils, but I'm quite eager to see what can be done with them. As I said, I've become addicted. I noticed in the reviews that some sets exhibited leakage, and a friend who also ordered a set had leakage in his, but mine had none. These were the first oils I ever bought and they definitely set the bar high for other oils! I am still fairly new to using essential oils, but there isn't a day that goes by that I don't use at LEAST 2 of the oils in this set, whether it's in a diffuser, to fix a "boo boo" for one of my little ones, to help ease a headache, to experiment with something new with my girls (I have 3 daughters ages 13,9&3 and they love my oils as much as I do now), or to just add to some lotion to ease achy muscles or make me feel and smell good, I love this set! All the oils were tightly sealed and packaged well, and came in the promised 2 days with Prime. I will definitely be buying this brand again, as I've only bought from a few other brands and though they have good oils, I would consider these oils to be premium oils, and I prefer these when using on my body and especially when using on one of my girls. Now I'm no expert so I can't say what is actually "Premium" and not, but Ican say that these oils are of better quality than 6 other kits I have bought here and elsewhere. Another thing I really love about this brand is that they put on the bottle what each oil can be used for, which is pretty awesome for a newbie! Once I can add pictures I'll add a picture of them, but I'll go ahead and add it to my review to at least help people out in making their purchase because I find this to be a very nice touch that not a lot of other brands do. So for the Clove Leaf the bottle says: "Clove Leaf has powerful antiseptic, antifungal and anesthetic properties. It blends well with many other essential oils.In vapor therapy it is used to help reduce depression, weakness, and lethargy while strengthening memory. It is also used as a pain reliever and in treatment for acne, burns, and cuts."I personally didn't know that about Clove EO, I knew it was great for a fever blister, and a toothache, and smells great in a diffuser with Cinnamon at Christmas time, but that's it! I learned a lot from this kit and will definitely be buying from them again. This brand will actually be my go-to for a lot of my collection. You really can't go wrong with what you get for the price, it really is the best kit I've bought so far, and I've paid more money for less.

As soon as the box came, & I picked it up & opened it, I smelled them all right away. But when I put two different kinds into my diffuser, you have to hit the bottom of the bottle to get it out, & you have to use a lot. But they do smell good.

I've ordered a couple of Majestic Pure products. One of them is this essential oil set. I am now down on my last bottle of frankincense. Here is the order of the scents I used up: eucalyptus, rosemary, lavender, lemon, cinnamon leaf, peppermint, clove leaf, and last, frankincense.I use the aromatherapy diffuser to help ease my migraine and seasonal allergies. In terms of my migraine, strong scents trigger a migraine attack. However, these scents help ease the throbbing pain. My allergies are worse during the winter and summer seasons. However, I use these mostly during the months of September to May. Especially when the air is biting cold and dry.TIPS:- Best for night use: lavender, eucalyptus, and clove leaf- Best for day use: lemon, peppermint, and rosemary- Best for any time of the day: cinnamon, peppermint, eucalyptus, and frankincense- Scents I love to use when I have migraines: rosemary, clove leaf, eucalyptus, and peppermintI have never tried to use this as topical for the skin, only for the diffuser. A couple of droplets goes a long way. I bought the set in December 2017 and used up using the last bottle in October 2020. You can mix scents however you want them but because of my sensitivity, I only mix eucalyptus or peppermint with the other scents.Try this product if you have migraines and allergies like me. Highly recommended for those who love to use essential oils on diffusers.
