A review
Keep in mind that I don't know all that much about headphones and what is and isn't good.I bought these pads because the ones that came with my M50's were beginning to wear. This was purchased mainly as a replacement, but thought it might be a good idea to purchase more expensive pads for a slight upgrade.Music and the such sound a bit fuller. They feel comfortable enough to me, and I'll wear headphones for hours and hours at a time. Now some of the things I didn't enjoy:I found it pretty difficult to get these things on my headphones, but I'm not exactly the smartest person in the world. Ended up needing another person to help me. I also noticed that there was a decently long bit of thread left over. I was able to just bite the excess off, problem solved, but other people may not enjoy having to cut their new pads, especially for 50 bucks.Overall: I never really had a problem with the pads that came with my headphones in the first place. To me, it doesn't feel like a crazy upgrade or anything like that, and the level of comfort doesn't seem all that different, despite other reviews I've seen. It seems crazy to me that these are double the price of the standard pads. This is not to say that these pads are bad by any means. They're pads, they do their job fine.

Very good but a little pricey
I got these after I tried some of the brainwavz pads which are very popular mod for the M50x. The Brainwavz pads are very comfortable but alter the sound signature just a little and look very bulky, so not ideal. When I got these I first tried they are a definite upgrade over the original pads which are little more than trash IMO. These pads are slightly thicker with more padding and made from real leather and memory foam unlike the stock pads. They feel very comfortable but are not as comfortable as the brainwavz pads, however they are still comfortable for hours of use at a time. And they keep the stock sound signature. the Only real down side to these is that they are a bit pricey but are the only really nice pads made of premium materials, but if all you want is comfort go for the brainwavz pleather pads or the hybrids if you want something a little more breathable.SIDE NOTEthese fit My ATH M40x, and ATH MSR7, and would more than likely fit any ATH M series headphones

Exactly what the ATH M50 needs
I found that the stock pads got warm after a few minutes of use, so I looked into getting replacements. After some searching, I noticed that many of the aftermarket pads tended to change the sound signature of the ATH M50. After trying these on, I've found that these do not alter the bass or treble like the others do, but do improve clarity a tad, so I was very happy about the sound. As for comfort, the sheepskin doesn't get as warm as the stock pads did and the memory foam makes it feel like pillows for me head. These are great and I highly recommend these pads for anyone looking to improve the comfort of their ATH M50's while avoiding any major changes to the sound.

Exactly what the M50X needs
I have many headphones with many different types of pads. Most of my pairs are higher end and I have to worry about scuffing them up at work, so I purchased a pair of M50X's to be my daily drivers at work. Out of the box, the comfort with these cans is terrible. These Dekoni pads really take the M50X from unacceptable comfort to exceptional. The sheepskin leather is soft and I don't mind wearing them for hours at a time. $50 seems a bit pricey for pads, but they're probably worth it, and are a noticeable step up in quality from the comparable Brainwavz pads.

Made for m50x | one year update
Good quality, actually keeps m50x sound signature intact---1 year updateThese are great from a sound quality perspective and are the only ear pads I use.Cons:They do wear out in terms of leather just like originals do.They also tend to come off the headphones if you're too rough with them. I didn't have that issue with the original ones. They pick up color from makeup and foundation easily.

YMMV
So I actually bought this for the rbh-hp2 and they fit perfectly fine, but one of the pad stitching on the seems is bad. For a earpad that cost 50usd you would expect it to be perfect with quality control, but that is not the case here. Doesn't change the sound from the pleather pads so I'll keep it I guess. Pictures included and 1 of them is fine at the top, but the other is stitch at the seems incorrectly. Also the box is nice since it has a magnet.

Good quality replacement
itโs really soft and made of genuine quality leather. changing the pad is easy and i feel like it feels better than the original one. it smells somewhat special too โค๏ธ i love this!! too bad it doesnโt come in the same brown leather as my former pu pad.

I use 4 star because even when are more comfortable the bass lose a bit.
This is as far the most comfortable pads i ever feel, you only lose a lil' bit bass power whit this pads.

Nice Pads
Firstly I'd like to say that I bought these to go onto my Roland RH-300's as they are approximately the same size and shape as the M50x's, so you may want to disregard what I say about how it affects the sound.About the sound, from listening and measuring with the equipment I have, the sound doesn't seem to be markedly different to the stock pads. The main difference is that the mids sound slightly more recessed than they did before, but only slightly and I couldn't reliably measure much difference. As for the pads themselves, they are a great improvement over the original it terms of comfort. They are much deeper and softer which means I can wear my headphones for hours on end with no discomfort. Conclusion these are great headphones in terms of comfort, in terms of sound your mileage may vary due to your own ears and head shape, but generally it doesn't seem to affect much from my experience on my RH-300's.

I like how they feel and increase comfort
Raises the low-mid and bass response of the headphones significantly. I like how they feel and increase comfort, but the sound of the ATH-M50x gets a bit worse (unbalanced due to excess bass) with these.
