This is great for beginners.It has very basic and simple bath bomb recipes. It has some color options but no information on how to mix colors and make multicolored bath bombs. I don't like using food coloring because they contain FD&C Lakes and Dyes which tend to be carcinogenic and contain parabens, etc. I use mica powders for color. I also try to stay away from corn products so I substitute the cornstarch for Arrowroot Powder. This book has some good scent combination options and good ideas for scents. I recommend this book for any beginner.

Have only just gotten the book and not tried any recipes yet...however, I am confused. In the beginning of the book where it lists ingredients needed, it says to use "..super fine granules" of citric acid as the powdered is too volitle. Yet, the very first recipe calls for "powdered" citric acid. Anyone can help me with this? I have "fine" granuled citric acid, will it work? Could the author have meant solid as opposed to liquid perhaps?

liked nothing

i would probably not recommend this book as the recipes look to my like it was copied and pasted from other recipes randomly. For example, a number of recipes repeated the same ingredients twice and I find that some recipes that recommended amount of some ingredients felt to be way too much for me.
