So I caught this bad boy on sale for $15 USD, and it was totally worth it!Waterproof: I just accidentally left this bad boy overnight in a lightning storm, dried it off in like 3 minutes and it works like a charm!Damage proof: I haven't done any abusive testing like with the waterproof, but I've dropped it a few times and my 3 foot tall kid nephew has played with it (dropping it and tossing it) and other than surface damage. It's has also survived a camping trip in the dusty iron filled dirt in northern California, though it wasn't subject to any extreme conditions.Volume: This guys got some solid power, for reference I play mostly lo-fi hip hop and some neo soul.20% volume is enough to fill a moderately sized living room with music that's still audible, but easy to speak over, with little audio bleed in other rooms.35% Will fill an apartment with moderate music with noticable bleed into other rooms.40-70% is usually good for gatherings of 5 to 15, both inside and outside, and wil produce moderately lound music if alone.80% and up? I rarely go this high, at this point usually in situations where I'd need it, someone else has a louder speaker, but it produces fairly lound music when alone in semi open spaces like porches, and terraces and will bleed into other spaces.Pumping this thing to Max volume has is no immediate or foreseeable drop in audio quality (like fuzz, popping, etc) even after the thunderstorm, but again I don't know if prolonged use at higher volumes will do any damage.The single VERY minor flaw, it's has very average range for low end bass in terms of audibility, but placing this Lil guy on wood or glass you can still feel it. This makes sense for a waterproof design, there's no visible bass port, there maybe one under the chassis, but I have no clue.

Sounds good. Power button stopped working making unit imoperable. Emailed seller no response.

This is an amazing speaker.Pros: great sound, loud, nice bass, rugged, water resistant, good enough mic, portable, comes with a bike mount and phone holder.Cons: i broke mine=(. I pushed the micro usb part in wrong and broke it that way so dont do that.

This review would have been 5 stars. However, after some prolonged use the power button caved in. You always had to apply a firm amount of pressure for it to recognize and turn on, this "pressure" eventually lead to a drawback and the power button gave way finally breaking what was once my favorite Blue tooth speaker I've ever owned.There really wasn't a way for me to be more delicate with it either, since it was necessary for that amount of pressure when turning it on/off. With that said though, the speaker is very durable and up until it's button giving way after moderate use I would say it was a great speaker. However, I can't recommend you buy it - if it could potentially break in the process of turning it on/off unless they fix it down the road.

Phenomenal! Bought as a gift and it's been fantastic, volume is extremely loud. Durable, heavy duty. Doesn't feel like cheap junk. Works great.

Stopped working already.

Love by the pool and on my pack while riding on my bike. Well worth it.
