NeilMed Sinugator Cordless Pulsating Nasal Wash with 30 Premixed Packets

Works surprisingly well, but not as I expected. I thought it would pulse but its more of just a steady flow and not very strong, more of a rinse, but pushes thru easily.. It needs a bigger reservoir as it only takes a few seconds to empty and really need to refill it for each nostril. It does beat having to lean over sideways to use. I use it while in the shower for simplicity and it works well. The battery compartment could possibly let in water so I just put scotch tape over the seams. No biggie. For the price I will buy another when I need it.

I HATE neti pots because when I'm super congested and need it the most they don't have the power to clear my blocked sinuses. Not with this Sinugator! It has the right amount of force to flush out clogged nasal passages and really helps me breathe when allergies have me stuffed up. I love this thing. Very easy to use, no issues. Make sure the water isn't too hot or too cool and enjoy!

I have been using the Sinugator for at least 4 years and have loved it, have convinced several of my friends and relatives to use it for sinus relief. The units usually worked perfectly for at least 6 months, then the on/off button would eventually get stuck, rendering the unit useless. No problem - 6 mo. was an acceptable amount of time for replacement.I bought 2 units this July prior to a 10-week cross-country trip, figuring one of them would last the trip, the 2nd would be a stand-by "just in case." The Sinugator I had been using at home for a couple of months died about 2 weeks into the trip, so I opened one of the two I had just purchased. The on/off button on the new Sinugator became inoperable 3 weeks later!! My "Fix-It Genius" husband opened it up but could not get the on/off button working so we tossed the pump unit and I opened the 2nd Sinugator. The 2nd unit didn't make it past 2 weeks!! Now I am using the old-school squeeze bottle, with which I'm not thrilled, but I refuse to buy another $20-$25 Sinugator only to have it quit on me in 2 weeks. Obviously NeilMed's quality control is not working either! If I can find a squeeze bottle NOT made by NeilMed, I will buy it - I am THAT ticked off about NeilMed.

I thought this was a great product until it quit working on me. I bought it in August 2018 and less than a year later it no longer works. Debating on whether to replace or find a better quality version of this product because I really did like how quick and easy it was to use.

I've bought these over the years because they really help me with my allergies and sinus blockage. I have one problem with them and that is that the unit will eventually start cracking around the top seam and stop working (moisture probably gets in). After this happened to me twice, I taped that seam with Gorilla tape and that extended the life by years. I had a sinus operation several years ago and this was recommended by my surgeon. He also said I could just mix a solution of 1/2 salt and 1/2 baking soda instead of buying the expensive premix. I have done this for years.

Bought in 4/17. Still works without leaking around the jar or into tye battery compartment. Con: Took awhile to get used to its water pressure, manage it by operating for few seconds at a time. Pro: I like it better than the squeeze bottles because the pressure is consistent. I only use it when needed during sickness/allergies, after performing a dusty job, or when stuffy. I have not used more than 50-60, as i havent used two full boxes of packets. The NeilMed premixed packets are very mild and do burn my sinuses. Would buy again and have recommended to friends. For stuffiness, i have also found greater relief when used in conjuction with sinus buster pepper nasal spray first, and then adding the nasal wash solution product “Alkalol” ***Not rubbing alcohol **** to my saline solution in the sinugatir jar. Both products work well and can produce an unpleasant burning sensation in your nasal passages. I follow the user instructions for all listed products and do not over use products.

Seriously this has saved me! I used this all thorough my pregnancy because I had a constantly stuffy noise! And everytime I feel a cold coming on I use this and it prevents me from getting sicker. Its so good!

Love this product. Has saved me from many sinus infections but have had to purchase at least 5 as they continue to get wet inside or the outerier shell cracks and eventially quits working
