Usually love Overtone, sadly this mask caused some issues. Customer service was great though.
Edit: Overtone was kind enough to reach out to me regarding this experience. I know it’s not the normal and I’m changing my rating because I truly so love Overtone products. I won’t be buying this particular product again probably, but I’m excited to continue using their dyes. The copper turned out stunning and using it on its own this time has left my hair feeling better. Thank you for the customer support you showed, Overtone 🤍I will say, Overtone makes wonderful products. Usually I rarely have an issue with their dyes or toners. The copper dye I also ordered was lovely and left my hair feeling nice and soft. However for the first time I decided to try a more diluted copper hence I bought this mask to mix it with. Same dye. Mixed with this mask at a 1:3 ratio. It felt odd, thick and almost crusty when worked into my hair. I had so much trouble getting a good spread because it literally started stiffening. I’ve never experienced something like this. The test section I did didn’t originally have much of an issue. Yet once coated on my hair it was a disaster. Washing my hair out 10 minutes after application resulted in clumps on hair falling out even with being gentle. When trying my hair, more clumps fell out. I’m devastated because my hair is something I cherish. I chose this mask to dilute my dye because I didn’t want to ruin my hair with bleaching. Ironically it felt worse than bleaching.Overall: I’ll still 100% be buying Overtone products. But if you have fine hair. Please be careful with this and test it beforehand. I’m not sure if I received a bad batch maybe? This doesn’t seem like the norm.

Smells fantastic if you like herbs and mint (which I do)!
Left my fine hair feeling soft and conditioned. I ordered the regular formula (instead of for fine hair) and it worked great.

Perfect for my thin hair
It made my hair feel good. It didn’t weigh it down even though my hair is thin. I will purchase again

Really great conditioner
Makes my dry hair moist and soft. It is costly but worth it

LOVE this stuff!
I had been using an expensive weekly deep conditioner from my hair salon that just wasn't worth it.I had used Overtone for color last year and it left my hair amazingly soft so I thought I would try this.I have greying hair as well (mostly brown with salt and pepper with about an inch or two around temples) so I mainly use purple shampoo/conditioner for my usually weekday washings. I wasn't sure how this would make my greys look or feel.Welp, it's now my go to deep conditioner. I use it about once per week and it leaves my hair soooo soft and bouncy. The greys are well conditioned. It does not give them that bright silver/white kind of color of purple shampoo though - more a soft brown/grey but I love it.The past two times I visited the salon she was shocked by how great my hair looked because it had been getting so dry and wiry between visits before. Two things to note though. I wish this had that strong minty smell of the color conditioner. It doesn't smell bad but eh...Also - this is a putty like texture and although I had thought I rinsed well the first time, it needed more rinsing. So really get in there and to rinse it all out. I had kind of pasty glob hair the first time I used it. Just a learning curve issue - otherwise I love it!
