The very best sports bra for female runners
I love running and exercising, and a good sports bra is one of the most important things for a woman to have, especially if she is large on top. It is VERY challenging to find one that keeps "my girls" from bouncing around. I've tried many different sports bras, and this one is hands-down the best - it is so effective that I have purchased 7 of them! Here are some of the points I considered when purchasing the bra:PROS:It almost eliminates bouncing. You will still move a little bit but not uncomfortably so.It fits true to size, though it's a bit snug. (I think this is why it works so well)The clip at the back makes it possible to wear any kind of shirt, including racerback tank tops.I think it pushes my chest up a little and makes me look a bit "perkier." The "uniboob" effect is minimal. The blue color is very pretty. If you wear a heart rate monitor to train, this bra has no under wire so you don't have to worry about interference.CONS:The stitching is heavy duty so if you wear a tighter t-shirt or tank top you will be able to see the stitches through the shirt. It isn't too noticeable, but it is there. The clip on the back takes some practice. It is easy for me to clip now but the first few attempts were tricky! If you have shoulder issues you may need to have a friend clip it.On runs longer than 9 miles the shoulder straps cut into my shoulders. I attribute this to the bra's superb functioning (it means it's holding me up) so I just wear a band-aid under the shoulder straps on long runs. If you run 5 miles or less you won't have a problem with this. For some reason the white bra isn't as effective as the black and blue ones.

Once you figure out how to put it on it's great
As a woman with a large cup size, but small band size, finding a sports bra that is worth a dam is like finding a unicorn. I've seen rave reviews across the web claiming that this bra is the answer. I'd say it was almost right. Firstly, I ordered my true size which is a 34G and there was definite spillage (through herroom.com's massive selection and fantastic return policy I now finally know the right size for me, but this bra was cheaper here on Amazon.com). They didn't offer a higher cup size so I went up another band size to the 36G. I don't quite have the same separation as the model shown (so a swipe of deodorant though the cleavage is helpful) but I definitely did NOT have uni-boob! I was so excited to show my sister who’s in a similar situation (thanks genes) and she couldn’t believe I was even wearing a sports bra. Secondly, I love the material as it's soft and smooth. Thirdly, there is no underwire in this model which seemed really counter-intuitive to me because in regular bras I need the wire. I found the Shock Absorber to have enough separation and lift despite not having the wire. Getting it on was a little challenging, but nothing a few practice tries won’t resolve. I've recently started rock climbing and it definitely helped keep the girls out of my way while I was going up the wall. I've also been able to do jumping jacks for the first time without injury. I used to subscribe to the class of large-chested women who wore a regular bra with 2 sports bras over it and that did not give me the same level of control as this bra did and this bra allowed me to breathe a little easier than that subpar solution. So in sum, it does run small, but it's worth going up in band or cup sizes to get the right fit. Also, at the time I ordered this one, I ordered the Glamorise Women's Adjustable Bounce Control Sports Bra which I think has more control, less comfort, but is cheaper. See my review there if interested. Finally, unfortunately because of the design of the "harness" as I like to refer to this one, it does create a noticeable amount of back bulge in the opening between the top and bottom clasps. Not noticeable with a t-shirt on but if you intended to wear it alone this is your heads up about that situation.

Excellent, I've FINALLY found a bra worth wearing
So, I have gone on the long, arduous quest most active women undertake: finding a sports bra that is (1) comfortable, (2) supportive, (3) doesn't chafe you, and (4) allows for breathability. I can honestly say I've tried almost all bras on the market (besides Enell) and this is the only one I'm keeping. Here's why:When I first received this bra in the mail, it looked a lot like UA Moxie Sports bra and I was quite disheartened (see my review of that bra for why). I was overjoyed when I tried it on and realized that it is made up of two thin layers of fabric which, surprisingly, give support together. The thinness allows for breathability, which is hard to come by in supportive bras in D sizes. I am sized at Victoria's Secret as a 34D, but I fit in a 32D here perfectly. I'm not sure why some people are complaining that it's too small; I suggest you get yourself resized. Also, this bra is NOT difficult to put on: you keep the between-the-shoulders thing together, pull it over your heat, and clip the underbust. If you need to re-adjust the shoulder straps, take it off and adjust them. This isn't rocket science, people. The bra seems to be nicely padded in the straps and underbust, without being overly cushy. I also have yet to have problems with chafing (which is my prominent problem with bras that actually support). The straps are also adjustable in a way that doesn't allow the bra to become loose. And this bra is incredibly light and breathable; this is what gives it a huge leg up above UA's new, overly publicized 'Armour Bra'.There are, however some drawbacks to this bra: it does not stop all bounce. It does stop more bounce than every other bra I've tried on though. I firmly believe this bra could benefit from underwire and better encapsulation. All in all: this is a very good bra, but I hope there is better out there. This'll be good enough for now though. Also: I wouldn't recommend this bra for a cup size much higher than a D. I don't think the bra would be supportive enough.
