I used these in my sunroom, where I created a wall of sheer curtains over my sliding glass doors. Two 90-degree angles, with rods measuring 10' then 20' then another 10'. I really wanted a streamlined look without a gap in curtains or crowding of finials at the right-angle corners. TBH, these made no sense to me when they arrived, especially as I couldn't see how I was going to stick the connectors into the curtain rod before it was up (I was working alone and my curtain rods are freakin' LONG). BUT--and here's the key point--as long as your curtain rods can rotate around once mounted, you can use these. I put up all three rods, then screwed the connectors into the threaded ends of those. Then, I extended the long rod until it reached the connector at the first corner, aligned the bolt on the connector with the threads on the long rod, and twisted the long rod until the connector was full screwed into it. In my case, the end piece of the curtain rod just slides into the center pieces, so you can twist it around forever with no problem; this is true for most curtain rods, I think. I repeated that process at the other corner. Think about how you're going to get your curtains or your clips on the rod before you install the connector--best to get that squared away before installing the connector.I used a 1" rod and the connector is nicely proportional. I thought it might stick out and look too big, but you can't even really see it (yay!).I appreciate that it will be easy to remove the connectors in the future, should I need to for any reason.Whoever invented this totally weird little doodad should be granted a Nobel prize.

This curtain rod connector works perfectly. you can adjust the angle and is very steady. Great product.

Worked exactly how I expected. I needed to connect two curtain rods in a corner that didn’t have much space for the normal ends on both rods. This worked really well and screwed into my rods perfectly. The plain appearance didn’t bother me too much because I usually had it hidden by the curtains.

I was immediately impressed by the weight and quality of the connector! I was initially expecting it to be made of cheap plastic but it instead felt like heavy, sturdy metal. The color of the connector blends into the rod perfectly and I love that the angle size is adjustable. I am extremely pleased with my purchase!

I have to admit that when I came across these on Amazon, I had never seen anything like them before. I wasn't sure how it was all going to work out but I knew I could return them if I needed to. I have four windows, two on one wall and one on both opposite walls in a cubby hole just off from the fireplace in the living room. It's a tough place to hang anything and make it look great but these did the job. I used these and the matching 5/8 pearl rods with my Heritage lace curtains in that nook. These are clever and so simple to solve my corner curtain rod problems. Also, the little ball sits behind the curtains so you don't even see them. Thanks to these gadgets, my rods wrap all the way around both corners and my lace curtains look flawless. I believe they are one of my best finds of the year!

... drill the hole in your rod a little larger and it works! I grabbed a 15/64 drill bit, though you could use close sizes. The rod size matters less than the thread size — here the threaded screws were too wide for the ends of my rods. Otherwise, an innovative, money-saving product!

These worked like a charm! I recently used them on a bay window and on one long wall. I was on a budget, and these gave me a more high end, custom look at a super affordable price. I also bought curtain rods from this company. Highly impressed with all products!
