I use what is called the "California Roll" method for putting a comforter into a Duvet cover and a zipper is definitely easier than buttons. My first cover was with buttons and they are kind of difficult to put on plus one broke. Now a zipper could break.The fabric could be softer but I'm not have an issue with it really. I like having the nice stripes (blue with thin white stripes). I want my zipper to be at the bottom of the bed which means the stripes are parallel with the top and bottom of the bed, I wish they were the other direction.Overall I'm glad I got this .

This set is lovely, light weight cotton in a very pretty shade of blue. My bedroom is Scan style with soft colors. This is exactly the duvet I needed to complete the look. I've washed it numerous times and it comes out not needing an ironing. I'd buy it again if I needed to!

Beautiful cover. It is definitely not soft enough to use without a flat sheet in between you and the duvet cover if you had intended on using this washable cover as your sheet as well. However, if you plan on using sheets in addition to the duvet cover, it is a very nice cover.
