Used this to install a used computer from ebay under my wife's desk (DELL 7040m). Great way to keep cords hidden and keep desktop clear. This appears to be able to be used for more than what I used this for, but it is well built and designed. I don't think it is worth the asking price though for bent painted piece of metal, but it gets the job done and comes with all the hardware to install it wherever you intend to use it. Mine came fast and with hardware to mount to surface or to a backside of a monitor via the VESA mounting system. Would buy again, but would buy something else at this price if required again.

This mount works great on the back of a monitor either standing or using it as the wall mount. Micro PC unit sits in rack snug without any padding. Only complaint is that this rack does not come with a mount for the power supply.

As noted in the review with photos posted here in April 2017, this mount has to be modified before the antenna connector (and antenna) will fit. This means that the user will have to bend, drill, or cut the case before it can be used. That seems like a pretty big oversight given the price of the product.Other than that, it gets the job done.I used it to mount a 3040 to the back of an LCD TV (with the assistance of an adapter kit, since the TV used a larger bolt pattern). And with the assistance of a Channellock that I used to bend the interfering metal tab that blocks the wireless antenna...

I have a handful of Dell 3040 Micro units, with WiFi. I just received this part yesterday and was able to get it installed. I do wish there was a notch cut out so that it would fit 100% correctly, especially since the design is very rigid. I just bent back the part of the metal bracket that was in the way of the WiFi antenna and called it a day. I'll be ordering more of these and will likely find a fast and easy way to cut out and file the edges of the area blocking the antenna. Unless the seller has an alternative? Picture attached to show what I mean (sorry for the quality, had to increase brightness & contrast in hopes that you're able to see the area).I like that the design allows for the unit to be mounted to a VESA monitor or to the wall. In the case yesterday, I mounted it to a wall but in future uses I'll be mounting directly to monitors.

Very happy with this bracket. Unit came with all mounting hardware and was very easy to install. No antenna clearance issue with a Dell 7040, everything fit well.
