Prior assembly experience recommended!
After FINALLY redecorating our bedroom after 23 years, we decided that the very ugly Swedish modern nightstands that we bought in 1994 HAD to go! (They seemed like a good idea at the time....) After a LOT of reviews to read, I chose this one, and Hubby agreed with my choice, which was good, since the one of the 2 we bought and put together is his! This is not hard to put together IF you have experience in RTA furniture, which we do. We are not well-off, so buying RTA furniture has been something we have done for decades, when we could even afford it!One negative: there are "holes" for some of the screws that are supplied. I say "holes" sarcastically, because the little dents in the wood-pulp product are more like "suggestions"--- "Put the screw in here, AFTER you drill an actual hole!" So you WILL need a drill, and a drill/driver will shorten the assembly time. But other than these alleged holes, no complaints about the hardware. From the photos I saw on negative reviews, and from our experience with this night stand, it looks like you have to be very careful when installing the glides on the drawer. If you put them on incorrectly, the drawer will look like some of the more unfortunate photos I viewed. The pieces have stickers that identify all the parts, and our parts were stickered correctly. The instructions identify all the parts as well.As far as the drawer glides go: each piece (there are 4) has letters pressed into the metal: RS, LS, for Right Side and Left Side; and the glides have two parts on each side, but the parts ARE different. If you can't read a map, you will have difficulty with this part, because you have to figure out from the illustrations which glide piece goes on which drawer piece; if you are right/left impaired, like my Hubby, this may trip you up. I can't do differential equations, but thanks to my dear Dad (RIP), I can put things together from these types of directions: illustrations and arrows, but no written instructions. Seriously, this nightstand was made in China, and if you read the descriptions of Chinese products here on Amazon, you KNOW that many Chinese vendors do NOT translate from Chinese to English very well! So just having illustrations is likely way better than trying to read instructions translated from Chinese to English. We bought two nightstands, but have put together only one so far. Hubby really likes his, and we may use the extra in the living room as a side table. (After 43 years of marriage, having a real side table that wasn't a hand-me-down, or garage sale purchase, is really nice.) If we like that second one in the living room, we will buy a third one for the living room. (Turns out, I don't need a night stand, but why is TMI.)This IS heavy, and we ordered TWO. The shipper taped both boxes together, which made it nearly impossible for Hubby, who has been ill, to haul them into the house, so beware if you order two or more together. We feel our nightstand is sturdy and will hold up until our kids sell the house and furniture when we die. ;-)

Was easy to put together with the instructions! Exactly what I was looking for in a nightstand! Highly recommend.

Good for spare bedroom
Took me about 45 minutes for the first one and about 20 minutes for the second one. You will need a screwdriver to put together (I did have to redrill a couple of the smaller holes). They look great for our spare room. I would buy them again. Great speed with shipping and they were well package and labeled for putting together.

Terrible Furniture
The pieces didn’t fit together properly and the quality of the piece was terrible.

no good
The bedside table had no instructions and the paint was faded and WHEN I tried to put it together it wobbled and I thought it was someone returned

Cheap and drawer doesn’t fit
This nightstand sucks. I have spent hours putting it together only for the drawer not to fit inside.
