Good read for current times!
This was a selection from our book club. Initially it read more like a school text book but midway it was less so. It was very informative and I learned a lot from it. Made for a great discussion ...especially this year.

Quite the Friendship
This was the selection of our book club so I gave it a read and was pleasantly surprised at how much I enjoyed the story of Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Those ladies had a friendship that was strengthened by their passion for their various causes - most notably the women's suffrage movement. As this is the 100th anniversary of the 19th amendment this is excellent background reading that gives lots of details in a well told account of this incredible friendship.

Info Overload
I wanted to love this book, but it was terribly slow and felt like information overload.

All women should read this book. How could two woman stand up and change our futures at such harrowing times. They did and never gave up. Fifty years of friendship and determination. Thank you, both.

Elizabeth Cady Stanton and Susan B Anthony
A valuable history concerning the original fight for women's rights, leading to many organizations for women and children, and the eventual fight for the right to vote. Some sentences are long. A good history about very diligent and brave women.
