Centrifuge Tubes, 50mL, Conical (Pack of 50)

The tubes worked just great in a lab centrifuge with a RCF of 12000 m/s2. The test needs 7 cycles at 13,500 rpm and they didn't bend or lose their shape. Excellent product!

I use these to bank yeast for homebrewing. They come sterilized and will hold enough yeast slurry with 10% glycerin to freeze your yeast and bank it for future use. Once frozen, it can be kept for a long time (up to two years,) then just build a starter from the frozen yeast to pitch. A great way to save money and a really great strain.

Perfect. I came looking for a Polypropylene based alternative to glass vials/test tubes so I could set up a yeast bank, and create slants for sharing yeast with other homebrewers. These are cheap, the lids fit nice and snuggly, they survived 20 minutes in the pressure cooker without issues and they are absolutely less fragile than many test tubes I have seen. I will be buying more.

I like the size and what felt like good construction of these tubes, the cap is stamped 2 recyclable and held up to 20 minutes at 15 psi for sterilization but the tubes themselves did not they came out flattened. I'll try again.

Using these the harvest and freeze yeast and they are great quality. Held up great to 20 minutes in the pressure canner at 15psi.Great price for great quality. Will definitely buy these again.

these are great there build is surprisingly good for the price. I have not autoclaved them yet but when i do i will right update.

I only received 37 in my order. I didn't realize it until I had already used 20. I gave two stars because, other than getting shorted, they were as described.

I bought these for storing garden seeds. They worked great. Also used for a sewing/repair kit in my EDC.
