This metre tall faux palm tree releases such a happy vibe that I don't even care if it looks real or not. Real palms are difficult to grow and maintain indoors, as they require a moderate amount of Sunlight. So am really glad that they came up with this. And in reference to the exposed staples backsides, on its serrated stems layered stalk, with branches when spreadout are hardly noticeable that too only when seen up close. Well, that's another thing if the makers would had been more cautious and used some sort of a superglue to attach those stems to the stalk. Another drawback is, as also mentioned by others, a little too much swoosh of air from a nearby window or a strong brush from a passing hand, the tree collapses on the floor. That makes you conscious even when walking around it and you technically wonder what if the base was not all hollow or perhaps had some sand or gravel filled in to make it gravitationally heavier. So, I decided to pour and fill it in with ample water; a job thus well done.Leaving all that aside, this handsome sturdy-stalked tree with its deep green and smooth wax-finished fuller leaves left to balance on a pretty looking bulbous base, stands graciously directly on the floor, complimenting wonderfully that recently framed childhood painting of mine, on the guestroom's wall, which shines subtly under a dim spot light.Palm trees are considered one of the most auspicious ones in most ancient Sanátan texts, for which I placed an order acknowledging its Godly presence in Nature, on the latest Earth's Day, and this special tree that arrived looking like a large 'green obelix' just a few days before the May Pole Day, coinciding with the upcoming festival's Spiritual phallic ceremonies, it just makes perfect sense.
