Not worth the money
It does mildly heat up but the wire is such a HUGE inconvenience while driving. It's actually a safety issue. Every time I try to turn the wheel, I feel as if I'm creating chaos.

It works but cord is an issue.
It works as stated BUT it disconnects easily while making turns. The cord does not allow you to make typical street turns bc it's too rigid. Tried stretching it as much as possible but it still disconnects. Reconnects easily. It warms up nicely and is comfortable. May be a problem for small hands bc it is thick. I took it off after cold weather past. It definitely is better than the bare cold steering wheel. I would prefer to use it than not have it.

Unplugs itself, cord becomes a hazard
I had high hopes for this, given the good scores. It was really difficult to get on the steering wheel (had to use the claw end of a hammer to stretch it on), and once plugged in, it does warm- but just a little. Still, better than holding a cold steering wheel. And even unplugged, the cloth is not as cold as a steering wheel. But it's not as warm as I expected it to be. Given the coiled cord, I had hoped that turning the wheel wouldn't be an issue. But turning it causes the cord to sometimes get tangled with the windshield wipers and turn them on, and often the cord gets wedged in the groove of the steering column. Then I need to forcefully pull it out. The cord frequently unplugs itself when turning the wheel as well. All in all, I'll probably leave it on and unplugged for the rest of the winter and then take it off and chuck it. I wouldn't recommend buying it.

Warm hands 🙌
Having a cord coming from the steering wheel can take some getting used to, but it is flexible enough not to be a problem. It is worth it to me to have warm hands and it can be disconnected at the steering wheel when not in use.

cord wraps around steering wheel
it heats up as advertised. but cord attached to lighter wraps around the steering wheel, presenting a possible danger while driving. Bought it for my elderly father had to return

Would Buy Again
It was not easy to stretch over the steering wheel of my 2015 Honda Odyssey, but the ribbed material is soft and after a couple weeks shows no signs of wear. It does heat up, but just the padding of the cover keeps the hands away from the cold steering wheel (on -15 F days in Minnesota).

Neat concept
I wanted this to work I truly did.. Getting the cover on for me, needed 2 people. The same could be said on other steering wheel covers, so this isn’t a massive turn away. After a week of use however I have exposed copper at the base of the plug on the cover itself. After noticing that I have stopped using it. The exposed copper was directly related to the pulling force put on the wires. If you have a car with closer plug in ports then I do (12 Impala) then I this product would work better for you. As an FYI the power cord never disconnected from the power source during use, which was my initial concern. Also for those of you wanting a hot steering wheel this will not provide that either. This product warms the steering wheel mildly so that it is more comfortable to hold while it is cold..

SO So
The unit did not heat up on lower half of wheel, top half was comfy. On a 2017 GMC Acadia, when you had to take a sharp turn (90deg) the cord would wrap around the lever which controls the front and rear window wipers and turn them on and also washer on same.It would also at times unplug the cord at times whit same condition as above.---I also would think these could be safety concern.

DO NOT BUY
I repeat: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCTflimsy cord integrity and it does not heat up.Even if it did work, the cord is a major safety hazard as it wraps around so many surrounding items.Overall, not worth the money or the experience
