Very useful
Because I use and recycle a corncob based cleaning medium, this filter has been extremely useful. It fits perfectly into standard 5 or 3 gallon buckets and does a great job of filtering brass and medium without damaging the brass. This is a must-have for reloaders. So glad I bought it.

Robust, effective sieve. Makes separating cases from media a cinch.
Up until now I've simply plunged my gloved hands into the tumbling media to scoop out brass cases. This is slow, messy, and sometimes doesn't get every case out of the tumbler.Enter this gadget. It's made of robust, chunky plastic and fits perfectly over the top of a 5 gallon bucket. I just pour out the contents of the timbers bowl into the sieve, give it a few gentle shakes, and all the media not stuck in cases drops into the bucket. Quick and easy, and I know I've got every case out of the bowl. I can then pick the cases one by one from the sieve, tap out the media, and sort them at my leisure. Very handy. The only improvement I'd like to see is the sieve openings being slightly smaller. The current sized holes will catch pretty much any caliber one would want to reload, but .22LR cases will slip through and land in the bucket. I don't reload .22LR, of course, but it often gets mixed into miscellaneous brass I pick up from the range and it'd be nice to keep it from falling back into the bucket of media.
