I really liked the concept of the clear vs. dark to cue morning and night. I was ok with the simpler lids. BUT for the night time meds they put them in the same order as the morning meds (which is fine) BUT they turned the writing over so the night time is ordered Sat/Fri/Thu/Wed/Tue/Mon/Sun. If the writing was facing the same direction as the day times - so you were reading them right side up Sun/Mon/Tues/Wed/Thu/Fri/Sat = that would have been ok - it would have been ok to have the writing facing the opposite way of the mornings and have the days of the week in the correct order but this way is just confusing to keep track of when you are trying to make sure you are taking the right meds on the right day.

Most other pill organizers are color coded by day of the week, which makes absolutely no sense. Worse, that can lead to accidentally taking AM pills instead of PM, and vice versa.This pill organizer is instead designed in a way that makes perfect sense. With its black and white lids, there’s no mistaking AM and PM doses at a glance.It’s mid-sized, but there’s plenty of room in each compartment without taking up a lot of overall space. The lids close securely, with a satisfying “snap”.I’ve read a few reviewer complaints about AM/PM being printed on “backwards”. Well, of course the printing is in opposite directions. Otherwise, it would be be upside-down when the tray is rotated, which I’m sure most people do to avoid the covers interfering with access to their compartment’s respective contents.The only thing I dislike is the fact the covers aren’t on hinges, so they’ll likely break off eventually. Even so, at this price it’s an item that’s certainly not going to break the bank to replace if and when they do.

Way bigger than I thought, but that's OK. Fits a lot of pills! Sturdy, easy open, but not child resistant. The colorful ones are more eye catching, but I got one for my dad and we both found it confusing if you're tired or groggy. This one is clearly marked by making all one side black for night, and clear for day. Makes all the difference when you're dealing with medicine that should never be doubled. Great purchase. The only style available that I believe not even I can mess up while waking from a deep sleep between jobs and slightly tipsy from a wine slushy after my debilitating night job hell.

I've gotten by with cheap dispensers off eBay for years, two of them, one for morning and one for night. But the older I get, the more and bigger pills I seem to need. This one caught my eye with the night/day compartments and looking slightly classier than all the cheap-looking others (I considered an item that looked even more posh that had each day separated into a different tiny carrying case for day trips (which I never take), but can you imagine the work it would take to fill that?)This one is on the bulkier side, but I need that for my big pills. I do like the night/day and days of the week labels, also as I get older the days seem to run together (I'm only 53!) The compartments are very roomy and I could probably fit twice as many pills as I need. The doors seem sturdy and definitely snap closed smartly. The material is very thick plastic, definitely a few steps above my old dispensers. My one complaint, and it's minor, is the plastic is slightly rubbery and actually grips any pills with a gelatin-like coating so they can't be dumped out. Maybe this will get better over time. It's not a huge deal and not a deal-breaker.I'm glad I spent a little more for this unit.

We have ordered other pill boxes and some are too small and big pills such as fish oil get stuck. Then we ordered another brand and the labels (AM, PM, Sun, etc) wore off. I ordered these for my husband a few months ago and we have been happy with them, so I am ordering me some. We probably haven't had them long enough to tell if the labeling will wear off, but so far it is good and the size is very nice. Easy to open too but stay shut when done.
