BYS12 Shade Matte Eyeshadow Palette Tin Collection with Mirror, Double Ended Applicator and Blender, Nude and Smoke

Have had this product on 2 different occasions. Works great and last.

Rich color highly pigmented. Love the colors and blend easily

I was kind of skeptical going into this because of how cheap it was for how much you get, but it was definitely a great purchase! The colors are very pigmented and easily blended. They also go well together and you can create very nice looks with it. They are all matte with very little to no shine which I actually prefer. The only two gripes I have is the brushes that come with it are terrible (which is honestly fine with me because I already have some that I like) and the mirror is not the best. It reminds me of something at a circus that is made of plastic and is ment to distort your features.Overall it was definitely a great product and I would buy again!

I just have to say I love, love, love this matte palette. Everyone should know that the best application starts with a primer, much the way paint color on a wall does for best results. For those that say it flakes or doesn't last you should not skip the step of primer. I always say you can even use dollar store eye shadow with good results if you use a primer. What I love about this is the beautiful array of neutral matte colors that create a lighter or darker smokey eye. I prefer to mix several colors together to achieve a unique smokey look and this palette has it all. I've own many eye shadow palettes, however, this is now my go to palette for day or night looks. I would suggest you try YouTube videos from Dominique Sachse. She does some very good applications of eye shadow to learn from and good blending. It has helped me and thought I would pass it along. Again for those not liking shimmer as we age on the eyes this palette is excellent since all are matte. Also I would suggest NYX eye shadow base, works very well for the primer and it last all day with intensification of the color of the shadow as well. Go for it you won't be disappointed.

This is a great neutral eye shadow set with a nice range of light to dark. It stays on all day without creasing or fading.

I really really wanted to love this shadow palette. The shadows are nice (not a big fan that their main ingredient is talc though). But right off of the bat I noticed that the pallet itself is a pain to get open. I felt like I was forcing it open. Eventually the shadows started to pop up (see photo for reference) and I had to keep sticking them down. Eventually one popped out completely (see photo for reference) and I noticed they're only stuck in with a small dot of a glue sticker. And to top it all off, the only piece of this pallet that felt remotely tin/metal in nature, the lid, popped off completely (see picture for reverence). I’m so upset. I only had this for around a month or two and already it’s breaking and showing it’s cheap quality!!

This is a very solid, versatile palette. The colors are all neutrals and absolutely matte; even the lightest shade, “Pure”, has zero shimmer or shine. Many other ‘matte’ palettes sneak a shimmer or two in the mix (like my Urban Decay Nakeds) so I was very pleased to see this one did not. The shadows are finely milled and apply smoothly and evenly. They don’t have the same degree of pigmentation as pricier shadows but they are buildable, so you can go for a soft wash of color or layer up for a more intense, dramatic look. They come nicely packaged in a hard plastic case that seems sturdy and durable. You’ll want to toss the flimsy applicators that come with it but there’s a nice deep well for storing a decent brush or two. I have dual-ended brushes from both Stila and Sephora and they each fit in the palette. The ‘mirror’ is a coated piece of plastic that distorts your reflection quite a bit but it’s better than nothing. At this price point, I can forgive the less-than-stellar applicators and mirror. The BYS palette is a steal.

My daughters shell out ridiculous amounts of money for eyeshadow palletes. (among other things, lol) Or they'll ask for them at Christmas gifts which makes me make The Grinch face when I purchase them. $60 and I don't like but half the colours? Pass. I do have to admit they almost got me when they added scents to said palletes. That's just cheating.I wanted a good basic range of matte nudes with colours I would actually use. That's where this BYS matte set comes in. Beautiful range of colours. Good pigmentation. Lasts all day. Sturdy case. Quality cosmetics at a price that doesn't require me to hide it and eventually lie about how much I paid for it or justify the expense. Nine Dollars. This is a no brainer, ladies.
