Great fun. A couple of tips:1) if your cars are running off the track constantly, remove any stickers you may have placed on the wheel "hubcaps". I found this gives the wheels enough traction to pull the car up and over the edge.2) if one of your cars is running very slow and you've tried new batteries, grab a light and a small sharp knife or razor blade. Look closely at the rear axle. You'll probably find some junk wrapped around it - probably hair it picked up on one of its many off-track journeys across the house. Cut it free and you'll have full speed again.

Our 2 grandkids ages 7 and 3 really like this set. Not all that easy to set up the track initially as the pieces take some work to snap together. But once together they really like being able to change the shape of the track and add little hills. My issue with this set and reluctance to recommend are the cars. One of them (the police car) stopped working after 2 weeks. It was never abused, dropped or damaged in any way. Just won't run. Looking at other reviews, I see others have had the same issue with the same car. If the cars held up I'd give this 5 stars. But I have to go spend another $20 to get replacement cars. That knows off 3 of those stars so I can only give this a 2 star rating.

Both cars broke on Day 1. Tracks are not easy to assemble. Given to a 4 yr old for Bday and 3 parents at the party had a hard time putting together. Already donated to goodwill in less than 2 months. I would not buy again.

The tracks are pretty cool. They bend and move which makes them awesome for kids to use. My 4 year old loves playing with the tracks and turning off the lights to watch them glow. The only reason I am giving this 3 stars is because the cars do not last. After 2 days of use one of the cars stopped working completely. The cars are cheap and do not stand up to the normal use of small children.

Your browser does not support HTML5 video.  The best thing about this product, although misleading, would be it’s commercials. Very effective. That said, this toy could not be made more cheaply. This is my three-year-old sons, second set of magic tracks. This products shirt lifespan should’ve been the first sign not to buy another. On his birthday, he opens the box, excitedly unpacks it, and we put the track together. New batteries in the car, pressed the go button, and, nothing. Changed the batteries, messed around with it a bit, then alas, one of the cars started, and now, won’t stop. See video.

I ordered two of these, one for each household where I have grandchildren. In one house the cars worked great and the kids are loving it. In the other household, the cars are sporadic - sometimes work great, sometimes don’t work at all. Haven’t figured it out.

Grandchildren really liked it, but the police car stopped working in a few days, return was necessary.

My grandsons love this set and added on to another set so now they each have a car. One boy is 7 and the other one is 9. And the track is longer now so they have a lot of fun with it! M. Johnsen, Nana Mary
