Q: I would like to add wide ribbon, bows, and decor. Could these hats withstand the weight? Or be reinforced for such weight?

Depends on how big and how much you add. The top and brim of the hat are as thick as card stock only. The body is even thinner and will collapse with too much weight. You could add support inside the hat if you plan to use as decoration only,

Q: Can they fit on children?

The hat size runs small but likely wouldn't fit small children. I would guess ok fit for 8 - 10 year-olds and up. They're small for most adults though. Had a couple where the crown came loose of the brim, fun hats otherwise.

Q: Are these hats sized for children or adults?

The size is pretty big , so it fits adults and bigger children ( 6 and up )

Q: Is there a hole on the bottom of the hat to keep it on your head? Like can you actually put it on?

Yes!! And actually they are surprisingly well made. Our party had a blast with them!
