I was the one who named this "waffle tip dart" in 2016.
After having tested out a prototype for Little Valentine (who I assume is somehow related to EKIND), I decided to nickname the springy orange tip of these darts "Waffle" darts because it felt like a catchy name. A few months later, EKIND markets their new dart the "waffles" tip darts as a softer impact type of dart. I had to purchase these waffle tip darts because I kinda felt like I played a hand in Nerfer history, and it felt cool to see other websites or forums like Outback Nerf also calling it waffle darts too. Anyway, these darts will fit and work in most (if not all) blasters that were designed for standard Nerf Elite and NStrike streamlines. The darts do have a cylindrical tip with tunnels bored through them horizontally, and they bounce considerably further than the other darts (although not like Men-Gun's darts) when coming into contact with a hard surface. Outback Nerf has measured and weighed the darts more in-dept than I have, and if you need specifics I suggest their website. I will say that my ProChrono Digital Chronograph has detected a slight decrease in velocity from these darts over the original Nerf Elite darts, but not enough to justify the premium cost of the Official Nerf Elite darts; about 2 feet per second (FPS) less on average is the difference. These darts are also no more accurate than the originals, and of course are not to be confused with the grey-tipped Accustrike darts which share the same cylindrically-shaped tip with the Waffle darts. In conclusion, the Waffle darts are a fresh new safe and interesting foam dart welcomed in the Nerf community where flinging foam never seems to get dull, and another good reason why it should never get dull is with these innovative dart tips having entered the scene these past few years; The Waffle dart is what the Koosh dart was a couple years ago (and for the Waffle dart, I should know, I coined the term). It is a wonder why Hasbro never pursued the invention and release of new and innovative dart types until the Accustrike line.

Great inexpensive darts
I bought these for a nerf birthday party and they were perfect. The darts worked in all of the blasters that kids brought to use (nerf, adventure force, xshot, etc.) The varied colors were great for team competitions. The waffle tips are soft and dont sting like some of the other off brand darts. Eye protection is obviously still a good idea, but these are softer than most of the other off brand darts on the market.I gave a 4 stars instead of a 5 because the tips do come undone as other reviews have mentioned, but these darts have been used heavily by a large group of kids and we lost maybe 10-12 of the 200 total darts purchased due to faulty tips.

These Darts are the TRUTH.
Thanks Coop 772 for not only suggesting these darts, but rather showing everyone a very great group of tests comparing the many different brands and type of darts out there for our Elite N strike blasters. The test spoke for itself. These darts are much more precise than any other currently on the market, including the Accustrike line.I have purchased 400 of these in 3 different colors, and after shooting them from my own blasters they are the truth.Even my modified blasters shoot straight with these(no tailspinning).I cannot bring myself to buy the old Elite style darts now. It's"Waffle" style or bust for me.These darts are less durable than other 3rd party Elite style darts, but are more durable than Nerf brand ones. Still,I have lost a few tips while blasting away. Strangely though, the tip has always come out clean, enabling me to simply glue them back in with krazy glue. The white ones are glow in the dark(pretty cool),and the large 100 plus dart offerings are for sure a great value. The 200 dart pack is the best, but hard to find. Little Valentine had the identical product for a smaller price, but sold out super fast. (Thanks Coop!!) The Ekind brand has held strong in stocking these in at least the 100 packs,so for me they are getting my Dart money everytime. If your looking to stock up on darts there are slightly cheaper options, but if you're looking to stock up on great performing darts, especially in a modded blaster, look no further.

Much better than the Nerf Elite Darts
These darts are so much better than the Nerf Elite darts and at a much better value as well. These darts shoot much straighter so that when you aim the sights on your nerf gun at the target, you actually have a chance of hitting it. With the Nerf Elite darts, I may as well shoot blindfolded and would still have the same odds of hitting the target as if I tried aiming.

Good dart, good value. Buy it.
This review is for the first hours playing with this dart. I will updated it with a longer play time review in the future.First, I PAYED FOR THIS SET OF 200 DARTS.I soon as I opened the box, my quality expectations were met. They worked perfectly with my Nerf Strongarm, and they fly just as well as the name brand darts. I found this particular dart while searching for a kid friendly alternative that would not hurt or sting as much as the elite nerf darts. While the dart's head looks the part, they have yet to show less pain on impact. I will update this once my five and seven year olds get a hold of this set.The glue is holding up well, with no separation of the body and head yet. No glue is visible around the dart either, and it looks great in the blasters. The only complain is small pieces of orange plastic are sticking out of the heads every now and then, but not enough to impede proper function.Hope this helps the budget minded buyer out there.

Great darts! You should buy them.
Thanks to the review by Coop, I was led to find these darts. Compared to official elite darts, these shoot much more accurately and a little further, plus they cost alot less.If you’re wondering whether to buy these darts, the answer is definitely yes. You should buy these.

Slightly oversized
Makes a tight seal, but is overtight for many real Nerf guns.
