I purchased this as a gift for my daughter to hopefully spark her imagination when reading. The vivid illustrations should add to her bringing the words to life while reading a relatable story.

Beautifully Illustrated and actually, the storyline was realistic. The book had some ups and downs and real-life choices. It was about family obstacles and a turnaround. I loved the ending. Learning your own superpower comes from within. Have a good day whoever reads this stay encouraged and God loves you. I think adults will enjoy reading the book . It could a parent-child conversation about real life with this book.

This was a gift for my granddaughter who was having self esteem issues. She’s entering middle school and is not sure how she will handle it. She enjoyed the book which had cartoons in it and was an easy read for her.

I got this book the day it came out. It arrived UNDAMAGED. I read graphic novels because I pretend I’m reading a real book, you know like a James Patterson novel. I enjoyed this from cover to cover. Alicia Keys has a great fallback option if her music doesn’t take off. The story is paced like a movie. It’s got a bad guy that’s pretty bad and heroes you like. And you don’t have to be a superhero to be heroic! A great read, read it! And then one day when it turns into a TV show you can be all elitist and say, “the book was better”

I liked that Lorreta used her strength to defend her brother who almost got arrested for something he didn’t do.

This book is everything the world needs right now -- it's all about empowerment, empathy, and strength for young women and girls. It's not every day that you see a protagonist like Lolo represented, especially in a superhero story. It can only be positive for teenage girls to read this. I know Alicia Keys has done her part to try encourage self-love before and this feels like an organic continuation of that effort -- and with a super engaging plot-line and dynamic imagery to boot. Totally recommend!

Bought for granddaughter. She likes it. I liked the drawings.

My son loves graphic novels. He read through the Dogman series quickly, and I was hoping to find him another graphic novel to start on. I saw Alicia Keys on GMA promoting her new book, and since we love her music, decided to give it a try. He read the whole book in 2 days because it was that good! He loved the story line and the illustrations. This is definitely a must-buy book!

Such a fun and beautiful story! I could not put itdown. I fell in love with the characters and story and art. It was all fantastic! I hope this turns into a series as it has potential to be one for sure!
