TOASTY WARM!
It's a bit hard to wax lyrical about a pair of down booties, but these are pretty good ones. Nice and warm on my too-often cold feet. One recommendation: after delivery, buy some tent seam sealer and seal every seam on the booties: repeat annually. This will help keep the smaller feathers from working their way out through the seams, and extends the life of the bootie considerably. That's been my sole complaint about this shoe.If you have tile and wood flooring, consider applying some truck bed liner on the sole to make it less slippery on those surfaces. All in all, a great bootie. The recommendations above are just hacks to make it even betted.Best of luck!

Warm, comfy, and with fatal flaw.
They are warm as expected, lightweight and comfortable to wear when sitting. In a bootie like this, with no left or right, no arch support is expected, so about the same as standing barefoot (except much warmer!). All would have been fine except for feather stems poking through the inner fabric and into my thick stocks - thought I was being attacked by stickers! I would have put up with the rare "Ouch!", but the final straw was the sole seam failing at the heel on one bootie. They are not made all that well if the seams start coming apart after 3 weeks of light use. Sadly, returned for refund - they were warm and comfy.Fabric should be thicker to retain feathers and with better stitching.

Present for my wife
So my wife has notoriously cold feet almost year around, last winter we went on a snow shoeing trip and stayed in a yert over night at monarch mountain in CO. It’s extremely old up there at that point of the year no suprise there. On arrival to the yert there were multiple pairs of these exact brand and style as these booties. They were a hit everyone loved them especially my wife that raves of their comfort, so naturally I took not of style and brand. Amazon was the only place selling them and at a reasonable price of comparable brands and styles. So I bought her a pair as a gift I was iffy because they’re not exactly the most stylish or complimenting booties in the world and this was months later of not another word about them. They’re officially her go to house slipper and camping bootie! Amazing product and she loves them wouldn’t be surprised if she asks to be buried with them lol

Sturdy sole?
These booties have a thicker sole than my previous pair, which developed holes after one winter of wearing in the house. They also are a good fit for my size 13 wide feet and do keep my feet warm. A small negative is that the foam in the sole is not quite as soft as it might be. I would also prefer dark blue, without the logo on the side. The insulation is also thicker around the ankle than around the toe area, but nonetheless my toes do stay warm.Update after heavy use this winter: The softness of the foam in the sole feels about right to me now. There is some wear on the sole, but only at some places at the seams at the edges, where the coating has worn off the nylon. The fit remains very good, and they stay securely on my feet.Update after three years. I have just purchased a new pair - My old ones started to leak a few feathers, which my wife did not appreciate. For the past year I have switched from using shoe goo to cover worn spots on the sole to using TRex tape to cover them. After several months of wear, it has not worn through. The new pair is identical to my original pair. I am very happy with the fit - the XL fits my size 13 wide feet, with enough room for a thick pair of socks.

Warm, light and comfey
I wear a size 12 D shoe and this XL fits well (something I wasn't sure about from the somewhat vague sizing info I saw). Nice puffy down insulates well. There is no real sole on the outside of the bottom, just fairly heavy duty fabric which I hope will wear well enough. There is some sort of foam or composition pad under your foot which provides some cushion between the foot and the ground. Note that there is no down under the foot, just the pad, so cold floor or frosty duff might make cold come up from the bottom. There is an inner elastic ankle collar as well as the drawstring you see around the top. Stuff sack also included.

A Great Boot for the Money
Got these for my hubby for Christmas. I've had a pair of North Face down booties for decades which he is always borrowing, but they don't make those any more. What a shame. These were the closest to those I could find. They are very warm, but like others have said, the sole is thin; really thin compared to my North Face's. And your foot will slide over the sides of the sole if you aren't careful. Definitely for indoors only.

Unnecessary Harmful Pressure
I wore this bootie, and recommended it to my patients, for foot health and protection. It was ideal because it was the only at-home footwear that stayed on without putting any pressure on the foot. Yes, there is a completely unnecessary elastic band around the ankle, just above the foot, but on earlier versions, it was very easy to open the sheath and snip it, relieving the pointless pressure points. Now they've sewn the elastic into the body of the boot, and you can't get rid of the elastic. This is obviously a cost vs quality issue because it has allowed them to delete the fabric cowling that the elastic used to snug about the ankle. As I said, the elastic is completely unnecessary because the boot stayed up Just fine without it. Now there are no insulated booties for persons with neuropathy. Thank you, China, for ruining another once-great product to save less than 2 cents per unit. If you're looking for a good bootie that won't reduce circulation in your feet, this isn't it anymore. Please rank this posting as helpful and maybe they'll get the message.

Great for warm toes around the house
This down-filled product is perfect for my use, which is as a writer necessarily chained to the computer, which is not great for lower leg and foot circulation. These booties do the job of warming cold feet just fine. A note to the wise: these are booties, not boots. Don't take them outside. I keep a pair of slip-on engineer's boots at the front door for doing yard work or anything that takes me into the soggy Northwest outdoors. These booties were a good buy at a fair price.
