I've been refilling my SealPods for months using the little scoops to tamp down the coffee. Using a very precise scale and lots of testing I had the right grind, amount of fill, and so on. This tamper seemed like an unnecessary luxury so it sat in my wish list for months, but ultimately I decided to splurge on it. After all, I usually drink 3 - 6 pods a day (mostly decaf) so even a small luxury would make a difference over time.I'm honestly surprised at how much of a difference it makes - tapping the tamper down on the coffee makes for a an easier, more consistent packing than I'd been achieving. No wonder people use these things! Very highly recommended.
