Got this light to add to a work space. It's bright to look at but does not project much light. It is just on the edge of sufficient for my 2x3 work table when hung at 24" above the table top. In addition, there is no on off switch..... The light must be plugged in every time one would want to use it or leave it plugged in with the light on....which is not efficient for a work space that isn't being used all day. Its a cheap led 'shop' light and as I've recently found, there are better lights available with higher wattage and with the standard on/off switch or pull cord. I had originally bought two of these and returned one because it arrived damaged. It arrived damaged because it was shipped in the thin cardboard product box with no extra padding/packaging of any kind, so I have already returned that one. I'll probably try and return the one that wasn't damaged as well. If you're looking at this light as a work space solution I would suggest to keep looking, you will find something more suitable at similar cost.One positive thing about this light is the reflective hood/housing for this light. It is much better constructed and stronger than other lights I have looked at/purchased and returned. So, if you don't need much light and don't mind plugging and unplugging a light for every use this particular light might be acceptable to you.

I put this above the kitchen sink because the old florescent bulbs were too hard to find and the fixture came with the house way back in Nineteen and Seventy-nine. I needed three feet and I bought this one.It came two days later. Installation was super easy. It's so bright nobody, including me, can say they didn't see the mold and maggots growing in the sink!This light could land airplanes! It's so bright only a blind man wearing welding goggles couldn't see by this. It's so bright your mother in law would....

Product was easy to install and is super bright. Great replacement for standard fluorescent setups if you dont want to hassle with removing the ballast for LED replacement bulbs. (I'm sure it's easy, but I'm not an electrician and don't want to burn my house down)The light itself is two led strips with a plastic tube covering them to help defuse the lighting better.I gave this 4 stars because it was shipped in the products original box, not a shipping box. The box was barely held closed with packing tape and there was no foam inside to protect the item from being destroyed. I feel that this may have been a used item, but it works and I got it for below $20 so I'll take win

The product is lightweight which facilitates installation. I chose the flush mount method which would seemingly be a bit more difficult because one has to drill and install screws at the exact distance apart and then blindly get them to go through the slots on the upper side of the fixture. It took me a couple tries but I managed, and I'm satisfied with the installation. I just received the light fixture yesterday, so, I may have to follow up later, if something untoward happens. But for now, I would recommend the product. It would be great if the light fixture had an of/off switch, but for the money, one probably can't expect too much. For now, I'm only giving a 4 star rating because of the time factor and not really having had a chance to use it for a long enough time to feel confident of a full 5 star rating.

Hung two of these in my garage over tool boxes. Easy to install, major difference in lighting. Bought a remote outlet insert plug  Etekcity Wireless Remote Control Electrical Outlet Switch for Household Appliances, Wireless Remote Light Switch, White (3Rx-1Tx)  so I can turn on the lights at the door. Looks and works great!I would recommend longer, eye hooks though, I had a hard time anchoring this into the stud through the drywall ceiling. They need to be a little longer. In the name of overkill, I bought hammock hangers and these things will withstand an earthquake.  Hammock hanging kit by Maky Outdoors. Heavy Duty - Load capacity 440 lb. After 15 months, and most certainly not after 50000 hours of use, the bulbs have begun failing!

I've had mine 28 months now. I am very happy with it. After 28 months 1/2 of one strip is out. Time to replace it.

it was very easy to install. It lights up all of my laundry room very well. The size of the room is 8' x 9'.
