Beautiful pie dishes,can made a little sturdier and thicker in my opinion,looks a little thin

Thick and heavy duty, qualities I've come to expect from Pyrex. The blue coloring is a nice touch, especially if you use them for display purposes as well. As some have said these are deep dish plates, which really allow you to make great sized pies, but they are great for cinnamon rolls as well, being able to bake them and store them in the same pan is always a plus. Remember, these are glass, and like any glass cookware there are some special handing instructions, such as always preheating the oven, and NEVER putting them on any wet or damp surface, always use a cooling rack, trivet, or stove eye.The biggest downside is finding a cover since they do have such a large lip. I purchased  Round Slate Cheese Board By EMEMO - 12 Inch Cheese Tray & Serving Plate For Smoked Meats - Elegant Look & Unmatched Furniture Protection - Made Of Genuine Black Slate  and  La Porcellana Bianca Arezzo Glass Dome, 12"  here on Amazon for a base and cover. Plastic wrap or foil works of course, but with the blue swirls you can elevate it by using a proper cover, especially if you also use them, or one of them as this is a two pack, for muffins or other items.

Just got my 2 blue glass pie plates today.Top measured 11 inches edge to edge. Inside where pie dough about 9 1/2 tiny bit less. Deep is 1 1/2 inches. Just what I wanted. My old ones were hard to get in oven and out because they don't have the lip like these. Think I am going to really like these.Update I know I am going to like them. 76 year old man here. Got to watch calories so I use a single crust and one can filling. About 1200 calories for a pie. Eat one 1/6 pie each day 200 calories. Any way these are great. The other 2 I had broke edge crust getting it out oven no matter what I did. Now not a problem. Will not use the straight sides anymore.I have used them 4 times now. My other plain glass plates I had to use those silicone edge covers. Or the edge would burn. For some reason can't use them on these but they do not burn at all. That's a plus.

This is my first Pyrex plate that I have ever purchased. And for the first time I made a homemade pie. I love making real pies but my pie crust making skills are sub par. This elegant pie plate makes even my pies look good! Would make an awesome bridal shower gift and they're MADE IN THE USA for those of us that still think that's important!

I like them, and they're pretty, but the "display model" shown in the photo is far more beautiful than the ones we got... Still, these are about the prettiest pie plates out there.

These are very pretty and have worked well for baking. I have not had them break as other reviewers have reported. The only drawback is these are HUGE. Most pie plates are 9-10 inches, these are close to 12 inches. The dimensions are listed in the description in centimeters, I obviously didn't do the conversion properly.
