Great shock
The rear end of my Kia rode terribly. It was way too soft. These shocks made a huge difference in ride. Definitely worth it.

Do not buy horrible product!
Lasted a couple week’s extremely poor quality. Shocks blew up spilled gas everywhere endangering my life and my kids Do Not Buy! Worst part is I returned them and they kept my money they said they only received one shock I’m disappointed

A bit bouncy
Not as good as the dealer parts but definitely not terrible. For the price can’t complain. If you have the money just get yourself KYB if not these work fine

Excellent, Monroe Shocks
Monroe shocks replaced original worn shocks. Vehicle ride improved to near new ride. Fairly easy install. All my vehicles (with replacement shocks) have Monroe shocks, no problems.

Be careful when you order this shock, make sure it is the correct vehicle.
I ordered this or a 2012 Hyundai Elantra GLS Touring with a 2.0l engine. This does not fit this vehicle. I do not feel it was Amazon's fault since many websites referenced the same type of shock. Local automotive stores referenced the same Monroe shock also. In picture #1 is the Monroe Shock in picture #2 is the OEM shock juxtaposed. In picture #3 is the bracket that the OEM Shock mates. This bracket has a dust cover that can easily be removed and the bracket can then be removed with pliers and an open end wrench. The pliers are needed to grasp the rod stop the rotation. It is an easy job just make sure you support the spring from underneath the vehicle before removing the bolts of which there are three. The most frustrating part was jacking up the car and removing everything and finding it was wrong only to have to reassemble and do it all over. The local Hyundai dealer wanted $220.21 per shock and they would not be in stock until late October. Look for the KYB shock since Amazon does not carry this shock absorber. Don't forget to use medium thread lock when assembling and use the proper torque specs.
