I found this item online while searching for comfort from tail-bone pain. My chair at work is not the best, and I was experience pretty sever tail-bone pain. I did not have the problem at home. It would get irritated at work, and after it was inflamed, I would have pain sitting other places as well, restaurants, the car, etc. However, after vacation or a long weekend, my tail-bone would have time to rest, and I would not experience any pain. Looking for an affordable and easy solution, I came across the Relaxo-Bak. As others mentioned, at first I thought, "This flimsy piece of plastic is going to help?" It is made of soft, somewhat flexible plastic. I kind of reminds me of the little plastic chairs we used to have in elementary school. It is built so that when you are sitting on it correctly, your tail bone is suspended, and no weight rests on it. Not only that, but it has allowed me to sit up straight in my chair at work, making it more ergonomic. I have noticed my lower back muscles building strength. I am considering buying another to keep in my car because it is so comfortable to sit in. It has definitely improved, if not completely eliminated my tail-bone pain. The only problem I have with it is that my butt tends to slide forward in it over time so that my tail-bone is no longer suspended and I have to occasionally adjust my sitting position. If you are experiencing debilitating and distracting tail-bone pain like I was, it is MORE THAN WORTH THE MONEY!!

This seat saved my back on a long trip! Usually, I have a hard time with long drives and after an 8 hour day driving I just popped out of the driver seat, ready to go. Also very helpful at work for a long day sitting. Highly recommended!!!

I've had one of the back savers in my car for 2 or 3 years and it helps a lot . . . when my tailbone doesn't sink into the seat there seems to be less pressure on my spine and therefore less pain. With the Covid-19 pandemic my employer sent us all home to work, and my home desk chair isn't as ergonomically correct as my work chair. So I purchased a second one to use at my desk; it definitely works.

Had hoped for more back support in my recliner. I still have to use a roll, but it is much better now. Wish I didn't have to reposition it every time I sit down.

It's Good for smaller chairs, but if you use it for a longer computer chair, it doesn't work.

This product works phenomenal with promoting correct posture alignment and relieving back/neck pain ... and it's lightweight and portable so can go wherever you go. A super buy at a great price !

Very comfortable and helps my back stay level in all the too soft chairs. I have one in my car and one in my house. I take in to restaurants which is a little awkward but worth it. Just remember to take it home with you.

My Chiropractor recommended giving this a try for back problems. I had a little problem figuring out how to properly sit in it. Once I figured it out, works well. I use it in the car, since that is where I have the most trouble now (long trips take the toll on the back). I did find with leather seats in the mountains it slides like you are on a disk. Great for straight stretches. Not sad I got this. I may try one of the newer versions. Started out with the older, less expensive version just to see if it helped or not.
