Great solar panel.
I bought this 100w solar panel kit, which for the price it's a great buy & product it is doing & producing extra free energy to my BLUETTI AC200MAX solar plant, I highly recommend, solar panel it's well built & made, thank you Amazon & seller.

Why I bought this solar panel
So I work in the construction business and we constantly have batteries that go dead all the time on our equipment dump trucks excavators so on so forth by mounting the solar panels on top of the roof of our equipment we no longer have dead batteries . But leave it to Mother Nature to prove me wrong one day

Charge controller is junk. Panel is ok.
The media could not be loaded. I tried 3 of these charge controllers. None worked. They are trash. One thought my 12 volt system was 24, one just cycled through modes and never did anything. And one wasn't even assembled straight. The cables look thick, but it's all plastic insulation with a small gauge wire inside. The tilting mechanism is hard to use, but works.

Controller is sad
The controller suckOrder the Renogy Voyager 20A 12V/24V PWMNow the solar panel works great

Easy mounting with sturdy bracket - fully weather protected
I am using this solar panel with 12v controller to keep my standby generators battery fully charged. I do not have to wire utility to the cord connected manual generator when using this solar panel. The mount is really solid and it could not be easier to assemble. The connections are all weatherproof so everything can stay outside. The controller regulates the output current based on the batteries state of charge. It works great and would recommend.

Poor solder connection
1. The first thing I did was to connect a voltmeter to the solar panel output. No, 0v, output. After double checking the connections, I opened the black box terminal box at the back of the panel. The positive lead from the solar cells to its terminal was not making contact due to a broken solder connection. The solder was grey indicating a cold solder joint. Re-soldered it with appropriate flux, solder and heat; I also re-soldered the other terminal. Correct voltage then appeared at the terminals. I also noted that the tinned ends of the cables also showed a cold solder. Cut them off and redid the soldering.2. The instructions for setting up and using the controller are below poor grade and not understandable. I'll play with it and figure out how to work the controller.3. The power-up sequence stated in the instructions seem to be exacting. A better IC design would eliminate that need. With today's circuit designs, power up sequencing, ie VCR lockup, should not be an issue.4. The mounting hardware appears to be adequate but it lacks the ability to mount the panel on a pole.- Bottom line, it works but only after intervention by electronic/electrical technical know-how.

Recharging RV coach batteries.
The device is used for charging RV coach batteries which drain when there is minimal or no load. Am satisfied with the results during the first few weeks of use. It has been exposed to minimal rain with no problems.
