Good directions, easy fix!

I used this to repair a ceiling fan -what was irritating to me is that the switch I received had previously been returned with the return slip still in it with the persons name on it that returned it -The connections had fragments of broken wires inside the package and inside the actual switch itself I cleaned it and it worked fine -however who really wants that- to be fair the switch connections were the best that I’ve seen in this type of application easy to use everything else worked out just fine just don’t send out return items please

I was glad to find the exact model I needed for an OLD HUNTER FAN. I worried that i'd have to do actual wiring, but in my case I did not. I took off the light fixture, and took down the unit housing all the wires, so it was easy to work on and I wouldn't get electrocuted (ha!). I took a picture of what color wire went to the 1, 2, 3, L holes. I opened up my old broken model to see that I could use a tiny screwdriver to wedge in there to extract the wires from each hole. Then, on the new unit, used the same screwdriver to slightly hold open the wedge, and the wires went in easily.Remounted the unit, fixture.....and yay! DONE! Very easy for someone who DOES NOT LIKE TO DO "electric" work.

Was easy to install

This switch was an exact replacement for the 4-wire ZE-268S6 switch that existed in my fan. Take your time, and use a paperclip to release each wire one by one from the old switch, and re-seat it into the new switch, then move to the next wire until all 4 wires are connected, and you will be successful replacing your switch. Note, if your fan still sticks to one speed, you might have to replace the capacitor block. You can order an exact replacement for that on Amazon as well.

It was so easy to switch out our fan switch! I saved a ton of money not having to go buy a new fan. I thought it may be difficult to change out the switch, however it only took me a few minutes! I am so thankful that they had this switch available to be able to fix my fan. I love my fan and didn't want to go through the hassle of trying to find a new one.
