Make Cosmetics Satin Finish Blush, Czarina

Beautiful coral pink shade, very similar to NARS orgasm without the sparkle/shimmer. The finish is satin so it does have a luminous effect, but it feels far more finely milled and thus the effect is more subtle. Easy to blend out or intensify but not as soft as NARS and nowhere near as much kickup on your brush or in the pan. Use a fluffier brush than your typical would for your first sweep, then either build up color with the same brush or transition to a smaller, denser brush to spot intensify color for a watercolor/wash effect (popularized by Lisa Eldridge). The pan is smaller than NARS but the product is extremely pigmented so the size didn’t bother me at all. In fact, if you travel a lot as I do, or simply have a lot of makeup in your collection, you will be very happy with the smaller ‘footprint’ MAKE cosmetics products have. It does not compromise the product or give you less bang for your buck, the performance is there and the packaging never feels cheap or flimsy. NARS and MAKE share the same manufacturer/lab/parent company, and that is very evident in the outstanding quality of their products—I purchased nearly their whole product line several months ago (when almost every item was under $5 for some reason) and quickly stocked up on the foundation, this blush, the cream shadows in 3 shades (exactly like Tom Ford. EXACTLY), the gel liner and the concealer pots.

Looks orange in the picture but is a bright pink. Pretty but misleading.
