Perfect size
I purchased these along with rock candy (also available on Amazon). I filled them up with the rock candy and it made perfect little Christmas gifts. They get the candy and also get to keep the jar. The jar size would be perfect for spices or salad dressing. They are a quilted pattern which looks great and comes with erasable jar labels. This small purchased added up to 12 separate gifts for the Christmas season.

Perfect Portion Sizes
I was planning for Thanksgiving and realized I wanted to prepare dessert ahead of time. I needed 4 ounce containers to portion out the mousse but the containers needed to seal to keep the mousse fresh. I jumped on Amazon and quickly found these pressed glass jars. They arrived quickly and more importantly, in one piece. They were shipped in a box with cutout foam to protect them and keep them from knocking around during shipping. I was super impressed when I opened them. They come with a marking pen and what look like chaulkboard stickers but I haven't used them. I opened the last pumpkin cheesecake mousse two weeks after Thanksgiving and it was still as fresh, light and airy as the day I filled the jar proving the seal to be top notch! The only 'complaint' is that because the glass is pressed on both sides (inside and out) the diamond pattern holds some of the yummy mousse and no amount of glass-clinking-scraping with a spoon will get it all. ;D Very satisfied customer here.
