Phentex Slipper & Craft Yarn, 3 Ounce, Calypso, Single Ball

More reasonable than the regular parapost fly tying material and works fine.

I'd been looking for my grandmother's Phentex slipper pattern for years and finally found it online. This was exactly what I needed. Thank you so much! I hope to order more soon.

The texture of this yarn is a little rough. I figured it would not be fluffy, after all, it's to be used on the soles of slippers. I added it(using it with a Red Heart Super Saver Yarn in a 2 ply method) and it worked well.

I would never use this yarn for making slippers; it's just too scratchy for that. But it is great for crocheting extra soles for slippers and booties to sew on to slippers or booties afterward. Phentex is tough and will hold up so much better than other yarns.

Found it difficult to work with due to splitting easily

The Phentex yarn worked great with the craft I completed. I made troll hair with it for a hat I crocheted. Fast delivery and hassle free.

Love this yarn. No complaints. Fast delivery. However.. Needed this color for a special gift. I will not purchase further here unless options have been exhausted. Found this type of yarn elsewhere for fraction of the cost. Lesson in patience learned.
