No spout for pouring
This is a nice big ladle, but is doesn't have a spout, which could could be good if you pour at a different angle, but for me it just led to the liquid pulling back over the ladle and making a mess. I bought this for canning jam and jelly, but it's just too messy and led to wasting some due to spilling. Maybe better for soup or chili or something more solid?

It's great for scooping out soup, chili or whatever ladle things you need to do. I dinged one star off because I don't like the plastic (or is it rubber?) handle. But it's a ladle; pretty hard to mess up!

I like this ladle. It is very sturdy, easy to clean, and I like the hook on the side, which prevents it from falling into my spiced cider!

Great size
Bought this for canning. I was looking for a ladle that held more than 1/3 of a cup. This does that, AND I can hook it on the side of my own and not lose it in a pot of boiling jam.
