Excellent Brand
Brooks makes the best sneakers! They are stylish and the fit is amazing. I feel like I'm walking on a cloud. I can wear them all day and into the evening and my feet don't hurt at all. They have excellent arch support for my high arches that are starting to fall. I recommend this brand to all my friends and family.

Best shoes ever!
This is my 3rd pair of Brooks Glycerin 20's. I went to a running store to find what shoes would fit me best, and these were the ones recommended based on my foot scan, stride, etc. They are for neutral arches, have a lot of cushion, wide toe box and are average width. My heel is narrow and these fit me well if I use a "runners' lace" and tighten them. I got them for walking long days on vacation. They are the first shoes I can walk all day in and not have achy feet at the end of the day. I am not a runner, so I can't speak to how they are for runners. But if you want a cushy, supportive shoes that hold up well to many miles of walking, try these!

Expensive but worth it
I have plantar faciitis and have struggled with it on and off for a few years. My podiatrist had given me a list of shoes that were best for this condition and brooks was one of them. My physical therapist suggested brooks over the others but they were, in my opinion, outrageously priced so I started to wear Asics instead. While Asics is good and I could definitely feel more support with them on versus the adidas and sketchers that I had been previously wearing, I still continued to have the fasciitis heel/foot pain on & off depending on how much walking I did or how long I was on my feet. I'm also in the medical field so being on your feet all day is part of the job. I have done the stretches, ice, rest, orthotic inserts, etc but nothing helps to keep the pain away.... it is also interfering with my daily life, I have a hard time just vacuuming and cleaning my house because I can't be on my feet too long without needing to sit down. I saw these brooks had been marked down and "on sale" during Christmas so I figured, I'd just suck it up and buy them. Well, after literally one day, my feet are not hurting. I was at work, and it just hit me.. "hey, my feet aren't killing me as I'm walking back & forth" and they continue not to hurt even after I take the sneakers off! I am so glad I bought them and have since ordered 2 more pairs. I bought my regular size of 8 Medium width (I don't have a wide foot) and they fit fine. They do give/stretch a little after wearing so I think if I sized up to the recommended size of 8.5 they would have ended up being too big (amazon suggested 8.5 & some reviews say to size up). They are easier to get on than the stealthfit pairs I also own. I'm sorry I didn't purchase them sooner.. (hopefully I am not jinxing myself lol).

Best shoes ever!
I'm on concrete floors for 8 plus hours a day and these shoes keep my feet comfortable all day. I recommend the wides because I like the extra toe room. I now own 3 pairs and I highly recommend them.

Confortable
If you like Brookes then you won't be disappointed unless you were really looking forward to them being lilac or a darker purple as described. I knew they could have been black and they are. They definitely looked black & white & yup! They look in real life & on here to "ME" black & white!! LOL 😂 😂 You could totally go shoe shopping in my closet. I have about brand 20 new pairs of sneakers alone and all but about 3 are black and white, the others gray black and white. I recently decided to start adding color in my life and thought I was putting myself out there and well... OH WELL... these are a different black and white that I don't sorta have? 🤔 Guess Ill need another pair. I will just try a different pair. At least they werent blue. I don't like blue. Dark blue anyway. Long story short, If you wanted lilac, or a purple, they are not. They are comfortable like all Brookes and if you have a wide foot, size up one if they don't have a wide and you should be fine. Sometimes wides are too wide in shoes, and reg can be fine for wide feet. Sometimes wides are not wide enough. These are Med and a good Med. I have 1 foot that needs an extra W & at times the W is not wide enough for my 1 foot. If you need that wide of a Wide get a mens Wide, if they have them? These are nice and comfortable to workout out or spend the day shopping, walking or working. If you have ever worn Hokas, Brookes, are cut smaller. I consider Hokas to be larger by a whole size. These are great they came in a timely manner apparently from the UK? It was sooner then they had originally stated anyway. Great quality! Star is for the color. They are just not Lilac.

Feels like walking on pillows
I love how these feel. I have had them for a week. I work in a warehouse and I stand for 10 to 12 hours a day, as well as walk almost 9 miles on hard concrete. I took my old shoes to work with me all week in case breaking them in proved to be difficult. The first day I had to change out at lunch, the second day I was able to wear them all day and the third day I was able to wear them all day. I think these are going to be a very versatile show for me. I walk on the balls of my feet and my shoes wear out fairly quickly, but these seem to have a thick memory foam insole that should last a while. The heels feel sturdy too and should help with the tendons in my ankles and help with my ankle pain. The cushion insoles fit right up against the arch of my foot and supports better walking gait for me. Not to mention the price is amazing. I'm very satisfied with my purchase.
