Ok so was thinking to myself, so it comes with hdmi, why not connect to the receiver as it’s already got the fire stick , PlayStation and blu ray connected therefore would be able to play the source from there and get the image as well as sound, but no, so had to resort in connecting a spare fire stick to the unit, and remember plug the sticks power source in or won’t work and then goto settings if stick and audio/video and turn OFF dolly plus sound or will not give sound. Once done you can watch all the content from the stick, Netflix, prime , Disney+ , paramount+… to be honest I’m only going to use for films not gaming as not wanting to unplug the hdmi from station every time want to use, so for the picture quality, now I like crisp clear imagers and takes a lot to impress me, but tbh did play Star Wars episode IV and was impressed with clarity of the picture- obviously can’t compare to the led tvs or a real cinematic screen but close enough. So from there out on frozen, (yes I know, frozen I hear you guys saying) just at the scene where sings let it go - and the picture there was almost perfect, but I want more than perfect and at this price unfortunately won’t get but near to it…. Then tried Netflix - Wednesday, and tbh not seen this on tv yet, so seeing it there wasn’t bad… however what i haven’t said yet, it never came with the screen as people suggested but read if you contact the seller they send a projection screen, well I have contacted and so we will see if they do or not. If not will have to purchase. And so at the moment When u was doing the setups I was propping it up on the box came with aiming at the white ceiling- but can’t watch a film like that - so why recommend a screen. Now for the sound, once turned the Dolby plus off on the stick the sound is emitted thru the projection box itself and actually not bad, what you get is HIFI sound. Still it’s not bad you just won’t get the effects but then again if you had a system you might. I’m hoping to somehow emit sound from the Sony amp and picture, but will see after 1st set up failed like that, had to be a way, now back to the sound, the fan noise is annoying almost like the ps4 fans when clogged with dust.Remote control is non responsive at best of times and unfortunately don’t come with batteries, will need 2AAA. And you know the wife actually took an interest and started saying it’s not bad , I think will need a screen when before she would say it’s a east of money, but we guys like this kind of stuff. So all I need now is the seller to send the projection screen an im good.

Was good for a while.
I was impressed at first for the price the picture quality was decent. I was using it about once or twice a week for watching football. Then i turned it on one day and there appears to be a burn on the screen. Can't see anything on the lens so assume it's on the lamp. So lasted two months. Avoid.Update. After my review I was contacted by supplier who were very helpful. After several emails they offered me a new projector for my troubles. I can't really argue with that level of service so I have adjusted my review rating accordingly. Like I said the quality of the picture was good and I was happy until the issue with the burn.

Pretty good
Amazing bit of tech but apparently was supposed to come with a screen and remote control which didn't happen

Spot of dust inside
It's a great device worth the price. However there's a spot of what appears to be dirt, in the projector. Its inside as I can't wipe it. Doesn't seem to have been checked before shipping.

Came without screen
Picture quality was good but it didn't have the screen in the package. Returned and reorder. Waiting to see if next package has screen inside.

Good
I’m satisfied with everything but the fact that it’s missing the white screen that was supposed to come with it? My wall isn’t white and now this is a major inconvenience

You get what you pay for
Picture is fuzzy but its not too bad when watching an old film, its a pretty cool vibe. But it projects on the wall the size of my laptop screen, any bigger and you cant focus it, its just too fuzzy. so i find myself just watching the film on the laptop anyway with the projector on the wall for decoration. It was 60 quid so what did i expect? I didnt want to spend 300 quid, so instead i threw 60 pounds in the bin which would have been spent better on bills or shopping. lessons learned, just move on.tldr: dont waste your money,
