To start things off: Yes, this does fit the Weber Compact 47cm BBQ. Perfectly. Like a glove.Protecting the above barbecue is precisely the reason I bought this cover and, while it is a tad expensive, it is of high quality, close-weave, waterproof material and shields the whole barbecue (save two inches of the chromed legs and wheel) from the elements.It is of cylindrical construction (which isn't easy to see from the product photo), has a handle on the top to help in positioning it, and has a drawstring on the bottom to help keep the cover on your beloved kettle in high winds; I keep mine on a fourth floor exposed balcony and it hasn't budged an inch.I bought this over the blue Weber vinyl cover because of bad reviews on the latter. I'm glad I did because I have absolutely no complaints about this cover, or the protection it affords.If the taste of rust on your barbecued food isn't your thing, bag this cover to go over your kettle bbq.

I bought this to cover my 47cm Weber kettle bbq and I am pleased to find it a perfect fit. As in the photo, it drops down to about the top of the wheel so covers the bbq completely, but leaves enough of a gap so that it doesn't rest on the damp patio.I like the handle on top, and really like the drawstring at the foot of the cover. My old cover never had this and it always seem like the wind would eventually get under it and lift it off.An important point to make here is that I needed this to replace the official Weber bbq cover I bought alongside my bbq just two years ago. My bbq lives in the shed all winter, and I leave it covered outside in the summer. Two summers in the garden and the official cover literally crumbled into bits. I assume the sun (not something a British person should ever need to worry about) made the very thin plastic brittle.This cover is a much thicker, heavier material than the official cover, and while I can't report on how it will stand up to the British weather yet, I am optimistic it will do a better job than my old one. It just feels better quality.

This cover is made of strong, robust fabric. The diameter is a good size and fits comfortably over my Cadac Carri Chef 2. There are two negative points: the length leaves quite a bit of the legs exposed, which means rain etc could easily get blown up and under. Secondly, the cord at the bottom is quite stiff to use, although I hope with time it will get easier.I would say that this cover is great to cover your barbecue over a few weeks during summer, but probably no longer- I will be bringing mine indoors if I am not going to use it for extended periods.

Appears to be of good thick quality. Been in use for some weeks now and still looks new. It just sits above the wheels but that I don't mind as the one I had previous, used to cover right down to the ground and used to entice snails and slugs to slide on up. This is great for the price and I'm more than happy with it

What's the point of a full size cover that isn't full size! It doesn't reach down to the floor so the legs are exposed and wind can get underneath and lift the cover off.Good material and waterproof.
