Replacement N2QAYB000197 Remote Control for Panasonic DVD VCR Combos (Substitute for remotes EUR7659T50, EUR7659T60, EUR7659T70, EUR7659T80, N2QAYB000196, N2QAYB000211 and N2QAYB000212)

It's a very nice, and responsive remote. However a complete replacement it is not. The one feature that we needed was the TV code that works for our old remote does not work for the supposedly exact replacement remote. We thought fine, but over the last few weeks, it get tedious to have to get up to turn on, or off the TV. I don't care if that makes us sound like couch potatoes, but what is the object of having a remote in the first place. Huh!

This worked for me right out of the box. I am not pleased that there is no eject tape button on the remote, but now I can access the menus and change settings as needed. I got the recorder 2nd hand and it did not come with a remote. This item works fine and did not need me to do any programming to make it work.

I've bought these before for my Panasonic DMR-EZ 48V. This arrived quickly.This works right out of the package. No need to add a code. The rubber keys have a conductive carbon piece below it. They can wear down over a Very Long time but this is crisp, new and tight. Recommended.

The remote worked fine for the dvd player but it will not work on my Sony TV.I input all the possible codes for the TV one code at a time and it still does not work.

The purchased remote acts just like the old one so the problem must be with the television rather than the remote. This is not the first time I have blamed the problem on a remote only to find that the problem was something else. Wish I could figure out the problem before bothering to buy a remote............

Remote works well. However the bottoms are small and makes it difficult when you are program the dvd , you accidentally press bottoms next to one another. If you have small thin fingers it's ok. If you have large fingers, very cumbersome.

It works almost like the original. Good replacement.

This works now but originally I thought it didn't. Turns out it was the receiver on the DVD player that needed to be replaced. Now we have extra remotes, which is a very good thing!
