I, like many others, bought these after watching the Hot Ones. I visited the Heatonist store in NYC and bought the smaller pack of 3 first, to try them. I LOVE them. I really don’t consider them hot sauces as the heat levels are very mild (even the hottest one wasn’t very hot in my opinion) BUT they pack some great flavors. The jalapeño one has a nice tartness to it with that hint of tequila. The scotch bonnet was initially my favorite as it’s by far the sweetest. The coffee one (and I don’t drink coffee) has ended up being the one I use the most as the bitterness goes with most dishes. I went through all 3 bottles within a year and I just bought my second set. I also keep the small bottles that I got from the Heatonist in my desk at work to spice up anything bland. They’re very tasty and well done sauces. I hope they continue to innovate and create even hotter sauces as well. This would be a great foray into hot sauces for someone who doesn’t have a high tolerance yet.

I got this after seeing it on Hot Ones, and having every interviewee say that they thought it was tasty. So far I have to say I'm loving the purchase in every way, the flavor is great and ,unlike other sauces from the show, the heat doesnt take over the flavor. each one is distinct and good enough to have on its own on toast (great wake-me-up), or added to savory dishes. The assortment has a nice split for different uses, so none of them seem like they overlap in which dishes I would use them in. The price is a bit high, but I'll freely admit I'd be happy to buy a larger volume of each for a slightly lower price per volume. I've already bought a second set as a gift and may end up buying more for myself when I run out.

The habanero and black coffee is the only sauce of the 3 I would consider a "hot sauce." The other 2 were extremely mild for my pallet, and I could not taste the spice at all in the jalapeno lime. That does not mean, however, that I would not recommend these sauces. The flavor profile is vast in all 3 of them, and although they aren't as spicy as I would have liked, each one is still interesting and unique in its own way. The names of each sauce really do a great job at selling the flavor profile of each one. The habanero and black coffee is my favorite due to its potency, but I can see the appeal of the other 2, as did many others of my friends and family who tried all 3 (the jalepeno/lime was the crowd favorite)

These Queen Majesty hot sauces are interesting. The green is mild. The yellow and red/brown are medium. The green tastes like hot pickle juice. The yellow tastes like an interesting mustard. The red/brown tastes good, but it has a clove flavor I don't like in savory things. The sauces are interesting -- a little weird.

I bought these hot sauces as a Christmas gift for someone who is a big fan of the show Hot Ones, and they have been enjoyed so far. The two hotter sauces have both been on hot ones, and as someone who was just getting into the hot sauce train, this was the perfect purchase. The light green mild sauce reminds me of a salsa verde and is very pleasant tasting. However, the last sauce has a strong habanero pepper flavor which is a bit strong and can be off putting. Regardless, the sauces were bought as a gift and were well enjoyed. If you are looking for a good quality beginners hot sauce set this is the perfect fit for you!

This set is really really good and it came well packaged by Pepper Explosions / Amazon. The flavors are great - it's very different and way better than cheap sauces from normal retailers. There's an actual consistency to the Queen Majesty sauces instead of just water and vinegar. The lime one is spicy but not so hot you can't taste anything. The red one is hotter, but also still tastes pretty good. I haven't tried the last one but I'm sure it's equally unique and tasty. I was a little worried about it breaking in shipping but they packaged each bottle in pads and put it in another box so it arrived safe.

If I could give this 10 stars I would. I originally bought their scotch bonnet & ginger sauce, loved it, and when I went to buy more saw this set. Since that sauce was so good I decided to buy the trio. The red habanero & black coffee is hands down my FAVORITE hot sauce that I have EVER tried. Honestly, there are much hotter sauces out there, so if your intent is to Wow your frienemies with how insane you are with your scoville tolerance, maybe look elsewhere. If, however, you are looking for an artistically crafted genuinely SPICY sauce that you can add to pretty much anything, you won’t regret buying this set.

These sauces have a unique flavor. They're made with apple cider vinegar, which adds a tanginess and really distinguishes them from hot sauces made with white vinegar. Heat level is moderate.Worth a try. Something different.
