This buoy bell is beautiful! The sound is deep and very charming. Reminds me of being on vacation right on the water with its soothing sounds. It seems to also be we well made as it is very heavy!

Having lived in Maine for 9 years and transplanting to Washington State, the thing I miss the most are the rustic scenery and sounds of the coastline. I knew the beautiful quality of these Buoy Bells by North Country since I already have one of their first 3 tone Bar Harbor Buoy Bells, for about 20 yrs now. The subtle haunting yet slightly higher pitched, 3 tone bong and the continuing echo sound that remains, of the gong always has been very relaxing, A real reminder of days of sailing (sound of the rigging) and cruising New England's waters. Makes me homesick. I purchased a couple for gifts this year and they, as I am so pleased with my purchase. The decorative wind catcher is a bit heavy however not grabbing light breezes like my original triangle one so place where you get a better breeze! I highly recommend North Country Buoy Bells. Well made, stands the trials of time, you can allow to naturally patina beautifully then as we did sand blast to start as new. I wouldn't hesitate to buy more as Great gifts! Would give 6 stars if allowed... I also have the monotone Nantucket Buoy Bell and that larger 30" bell is unique with a very deep, haunting single tone. Consider that one also. They are both outstanding.

This is what you're looking for heavy duty steel made in America. Beautiful sounding chimes, you can go to their website and listen to the chimes before you buy. I bought some small ones and they sound awesome so I went and listened to some of their Bigger chimes and they sound great. I ordered their largest chime. I Don't think You can Go Wrong! Gong like sound, rich tone, peaceful and relaxing.

Many years ago we had purchased a wind chime that had stood the test of time. We began to the journey to find another one to put in a different location.This windchime is exactly what we wanted. Great bulit, nice tone, and will be able to withstand the elements and offer us gentle tune when the wind is blowing.Looking forward to many years of enjoyment.This would make a wonderful gift for your family and freinds if they enjoy windchimes. This bell chime is smaller than we expected, but has a nice sound. When it arrives, the bell is packed tightly in the box. The sound seems tinny, but if you slightly open/pull out the sides, you can achieve the desired sounds.

Great quality metal and a beautiful chime sound. I adore my new wind chime!

We bought this as a gift and are incredibly happy! The recipient loves it. It’s large, sturdy (not cheaply made) and very attractive as a wind chime/bell. The sound is deep (not annoying high pitched). I’d definitely recommend this as a gift or for your own. I think the price is reasonable for the quality.

The sail on this wind chime is either too small or too heavy to be moved by the wind. Hence, no chimes. I live in Florida and purchased this after visiting New England and seeing them in shops. I've had it up on my front porch through the entire hurricane / storm season and haven't heard it chime once. Not a single noise and I've stood outside and watched it in the middle of 25 mph pre-storm winds. Don't waste your money on this.
