Balanced 2x4

My advantage is that Im quite familiar with MiniDSP as a company and use one of their other DSP products ...so the software was not a problem for me to use ..specifically balancing and EQing a pair of 24 inch IB subs (not mounted in a manifold / didnt have that option) The 2x4 Balanced easily imports files directly from REW (free room measurement software) and I all ready had a calibrated mic the UMIK1 ...You cannot use this product without a solid calibration mic .... REW quickly calculated a correction file for the Frequency response of my subs and was able to import that file directly into the MiniDSP software as well as some gain balancing / timing delays / crossovers.... worth every penny but if you are unfamiliar with REW or the like ...OR room measurement techniques , there will be a bit of a learning curve....there are several YouTube videos to support this process ..

I have a PrePro that uses all Balanced/XLR outputs, and using a pair pro amps o power my DIY subs. The miniDSP in line between the two and running REW software has made huge improvements in blending my subs with my mains. And I'm really only using maybe 20% of what this thing can do. But most folks reading this probably already have their minds made up about this product anyway.I didn't feel like DIY'ing my Phoenix to XLR cables so I picked up a pair of both of these:Hosa PHX-206MHosa PHX-206FBULK

Very versatile product. Solid construction. Have used this DSP in two different professional installations for bi-amped speaker systems. Easy to program.

These would be a little complicated for the novice, but if you even know what this is, you'll be fine. Great product!
