Principles of Medical Biochemistry: With STUDENT CONSULT Online Access 4th Edition

As a pharmaceutical sciences graduate I liked this book. It contains all the basic information without the fluff. Also, the book arrived from LA to Istanbul just in 10 days which is impressive.

I have to confess that I am a newly admitted professor in the Biochemistry area who bought almost all the main textbooks available in the last months, and although this book is not the unique reference, for me indeed it became a reference.The difference here is that the clinical relevance of the issues is more clearly detailed, without loosing the focus on the obligatory themes that medical students need in the first year.Sometimes I still have to consult others (illustrations, for example, makes Lehninger's unbeatable), of course, but my Kindle is almost open on Meisenberg`s.

The book seems pretty well written and covering latest topics.
