Best flavor!
They stopped carrying it at my local grocery store and now I get it from Amazon. I love putting this on my meat and fish as a finishing sauce under the broiler.I also add it to sauteed shrimp and Angel hair pasta.

Unique and delicious
Found this originally at our local high-end grocery store and after 3 jars they stopped stocking it. We regularly buy it online and were thrilled to see this large box on amazon. The taste is like a combo of pesto and garlic sauce. It’s amazing on bruschetta and pasta and especially amazing on grilled salmon as a marinade.

Best stuff ever!
Was so glad to see this product back in stock. My husband would eat shoe leather if this stuff was on it! Great for a marinade or as a sauce. I am a repeat customer. A very happy repeat customer.

Don’t buy it unless you like giving away money for free
The short version: it arrived already opened and looked like the sticker had been placed on after it was opened. I threw it away because Amazon always has “network issues” and can’t find my orders when there’s a complaint. I’m so mad this time I canceled my Amazon prime membership because more often than not I have an issue with orders and am too mad to complain. The longer version is this: I’m starting to think people only sell their items on Amazon when something is wrong with it or they need to get rid of their garbage. It happens way to frequently to be coincidence. And I’m usually the person who first assumes that it was an accident or people make mistakes but I can’t afford for everyone to send me the stuff they can’t use or sell and take my money. I’m a single mom with two kids. I moved to a higher cost of living area when I took a remote work from home position to a place with more job opportunities because inevitably contracts end and I’m tired of looking for more work every few years. I live in a one bedroom apartment. My kids share the bedroom and I sleep on the couch. I was laid off in September from my job as a systems engineer, my unemployment was denied because the state of Virginia is incompetent and the people who still have jobs decided they can’t find my work history (even though I have my W2 and paid taxes) and I can’t appeal it until I wait for some other person who still has a job to send me a letter. As I mentioned this is a food product. Since it was already opened I have no way of knowing how long or if it’s contaminated, etc. The last time I had food poisoning it cost me $6,000 out of pocket and that was with health insurance I had through my company. So that 10 dollar chicken quesadilla cost me $6,010. Since I had to miss work for kids doctor appointments, my own sick days, and anything else that came up I had no vacation days left and it was also 3 days of work without pay that the quesadilla cost me. Since I’m unemployed I don’t have health insurance so the hospital bill would be even more, especially living in a city. I can’t afford that. But Amazon still gets their money and the seller still got their money so why should they care. They wouldn’t be paying the hospital bill. All this because I just really really wanted to treat myself to some salsa verde. I can’t afford to eat at the restaurant that has the salsa verde I like so much so decided to shell out 10 bucks. That’s an expensive 10 bucks. Now a long time ago I worked in the restaurant industry. This was after high school. I remember we had a bin we had to put food into that couldn’t be sold, whether wrong orders, prepared wrong, people didn’t show up. I was told we had to do this because the company could write off the waste as a tax write off and had to keep track of everything. I’m not an accountant, I work with computers, but I’m not a company and I don’t get to write this off on my taxes. And I sure don’t have the income that Amazon or the seller has, both of which still get their money. So…to make a long story even longer, maybe amazon, with their billions of dollars, can actually require some sort of quality assurance guidelines…so us non billionaire people don’t throw our money away making sure Amazon has another billion to add to the list. And maybe the sellers can actually have some pride in their work and moral/ethical standards instead of selling their garbage. Sorry for the rant and any typos, doing this on my phone. I’m sure Amazon still won’t care because my 100+ dollar Amazon prime membership won’t be missed in their billions but hey.

I found this sauce at our local grocer a few months back on an end cap. Price was right to try. It was FABULOUS. Served over grilled flank steak (kind of like a chimichuri sauce) Went back the next day to buy the rest of the bottles but they were gone. Just a one time purchase by the grocer. Now they're available on Amazon. Received my package of salsa verde today....can't wait to start cooking. So many possibilities. Don't hesitate; this product is fabulous.
