I am 5'11 and 12-14 in bottoms. should i get m or l?

I'm 5'10 and they fit me pretty well. I got a large and fit 12-14

Lol, I presume the backside has massive padding?

No padding at all! It does however go right into your butt crack so makes it look bigger ha. I do love these and have 2 in different colours. Definitely recommend
